Oooops.
Hope you didn't google from work.
Actually if you read the source article (linked in the updates) he is talking about motionplus.
Figures. Well, at least with Wii, I don't have to play with a silly looking lollipop.
Of course not.
"Nintendo should welcome the opportunity when or where something we have originally tried is intensified by somebody else, because that means that other people are trying to starting to show their appreciation for whatever endeavor we have made in the beginning. The user experience we have created is going to be intensified by the advent of new machines from other companies. It's a new experience that we originated. So we really see it as a great honor." - Shigeru Miyamoto
(Miyamoto used that bit of conversation to jump into talk of Nintendo's approach to the games market. When they were creating new hardware, they aren't focusing on competition with other companies. They are simply trying to provide a unique experience.)
"What is very important for Nintendo is always thinking in terms of the appropriate types technology for us - unique and unprecedented entertainment to come up with technology that's something new. That's our mission. It needs to be something very different, something unique. That's something we always look for. Of course, sometimes we need to intensify the forms we have already come up with, but that's not the first priority for us. Competing with other companies in that category is never our top priority."
only robio can tell us how miyamoto really feels about sony ripping off the wiimote

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
"If you fling it at your TV -- you should be wearing a wrist strap -- but if you do happen to hit it with the top-end, the TV should win. One feature is that the sphere is soft -- you can squish it. What that's for, first and foremost, is safety. So when you hit somebody or drop the device -- if you were to make this out of plastic a lot of people were worried that the ball would just snap off. That did actually happen. One of the first prototypes we made, we made it out of plastic. People would drop it and it would just break in half. Now it passes a drop test and stuff." - Anton Mikhailov, a software engineer in research & development at SCE
Miyamoto may have cussed up a storm, or he just laughed at them. I choose to believe the latter.
I want a Lego Metroid game . . . NOW!
Looks cool. Me want.
Like one of those stress release balls. That should be very useful when I can't control a game because it's not a real controller.
Probably just smoked another joint, or dropped some acid and talked to the Pikmin in his garden about it.

Damn. At least he's being honest.
Seriously, though. He needs to start doing a proper workup or refer you to a specialist who can do that. You need to rule out:
- Spine illness which can lead to chronic muscular contractures, as well as nerve compression. Also discal hernia. That is ruled out by an Orthopaedist.
- Inflammatory disease, like fibromyalgia. That should be approached by a Rheumatologist.
Do not try out chiropractors or alternative medicine before being properly assessed by a physician with his head out of his ass.Gran Turismo 5 Features

Great. Does it support cars and tracks? Does it support the use of a standard PS3 controller? Good, then RELEASE THE F*CKING THING.
If only he could give us prescriptions.
So?! Here in Rotterdam there are plenty of useless bums that got fired. You don't see that in the news either! Same thing applies for IGN, useless bums get fired, big deal. Wake me up when someone with an actual job that requires real journalism and critical thinking gets fired.
I got to agree with this. People getting fired isn't news. It's not more news than having a bowel movement after a big meal. It happens every day, and these days more than ever.
