It never did combat very well, and only did level design very well on a couple of occassions. It was solid, but had potential to be a hell of a lot better than that.

Thank you, I'm glad you like the site.  And yes, on the technical end, I'm the sole developer, designer, and system administrator.  Conceptually, it's a group effort.  And the news has been an amazing effort by several of the posters here, with little of that coming from me.
