^ I had Powerslave for Saturn back in the day. It is indeed an awesome game. I liked it better than Goldeneye (no joke).
I wrote my long overdue LA Noire review, its up.
Powerslave is also one of the best metal albums of all time:
Any two of you want to play uncharted co-op over the next few hours?
Sorry not right now.
Two things: (1) I am drunk. (2) Nolan North is voicing The Penguin in Arkham City. That is all.
Why have I never heard of Powerslave?
That sounds AWESOME. I would have loved to have that game for the saturn.
Enjoyed happy hour a little too much?
^ Ya.
Drake? Is that you?
GO DRUNK PICROSS!

Well, it's still fun and right up there with the likes of Duke Nukem 3D. If people can still enjoy titles like it and Doom and buy them on XBLA then Powerslave would be far easier to have fun with since it's so unique in that it's not all about shooting. Lobotomy was an incredible company but they went down pretty fast. They made Powerslave and also used the same engine to port Duke Nukem 3D and the original Quake (!) on the Sega Saturn. They were also working on a Powerslave sequel but that was never completed.
I believe the game's title is a reference to that to begin with.
Not a bad dub (and it has the Japanese voice overs included anyway) after all.

Why the hell is Activision making a DS COD game. 3DS was announced a year ago, a wii version is being made and they could port that in 3D to 3DS.
Jesus.
This is why the 3DS is being held back. No foresight or planning or resource commitment by 3rd parties.
Awesome scans Agnates, this one in particular.
Interesting articles on that unlimited detail demo, most of it says it's a sham for a cash grab.
Boring news day.
So, Americans, can you explain what happened with the tea party and the U.S Budget debt ceiling talks? These guys sound like assholes. What are they? Right wing republicans?
Anyone a fan of the first two?
Ah Picross! I approve of that post too.
Have been in Glasgow since Monday. Hope everyone has been well and enjoying their summer. While I was in Glasgow, I visited "The Burrell Collection" museum. Little did I know that I would meet this guy there.

That's the best way to describe the. Another way is "angry broke white people." Fiscally they want to cut spending on virtually everything, even things that don't need it. Socially they are against any idea that would be characterized as "progressive thinking" back in in 1975. No abortion, no gay marriage, etc. Their unofficial party leader is Sarah Palin so that should more or less sum up exactly who they are. The ideas they they have are really nothing new, but they've organized very tightly now and have adopted a "no compromising ideaology and that's made them a dangerous group, even though thier numbers really aren't enough for them to effectively push forth their own ideas. They are big enough however to block legislation and that's another reason why they're dangerous.
If there's any kind of silver lining it's that a lot of their supporters are starting to realize just how out there some of their ideas are, and they're beginning to lose support.
