There's a disturbance in the Force today. I feel as if thousands of voices of Star Wars fans cried out in delight and cannot be silenced...
You never played the original and you still bought this relic? That's dedication.
I got all... was it 4 or 3 on N64, turok games?
Only thousands?
Having trouble walking today but the hype and excitement here among a few of you got to me. I'm sitting in a nice reclining chair in a theater, waiting to see... You know the rest.
How is it that this place isn't going crazy over Fast Racing Neo? It's a disgrace! The game is marvelous, and the perfect game to play along XCX. Nothing says palette cleanser after 4 hours of exploring Mira like 10 minutes of absolutely no blinking! And the game is hard. I'm pretty good at arcade racers, but this has me struggling to maintain an overall top 3 position and that's just on the slowest setting. The game looks beautiful, it's the fastest game I've ever seen, even on the slowest setting and each track is very distinct. One course has you racing over an incredibly narrow track flanked by a dense tropical rainforest, the next is set in a desert where there are no boundaries at all.
It's a wonderful game and a steal at €15. There's no reason not to get this. Not even 'my WiiU's HDD is full, it only weighs in at little over 500MB.
edit: oh, and you also get to see how well your cup times compare to everyone else in the world's, which odly enough also gives you some idea of how well the game has sold. Seems to have shifted about 26k copies so far. I hope it's more than that, because that's not enough for Shin'en to break even by far. If true we're more likely to see a sequel to Crap of Balance than another Fast Racing game though.
Their rebuttal was we don't feel the system needs Turok when we have Dinox available. Please understand.
I want to buy this but I think I'd rather play it on the TV. Why is it not also available on the U the same as Dig? I don't understand. Don't want to have to buy it twice.
Also want to buy Fast Racing Neo even though I will probably suck at it.

HOLY CRAP GUYS
Don't know about America but I logged onto the Wii U eshop special offers page and there are multiple games slashed in price to under £2 each!
Okay the Curve digital games are under £2, other games have huge price cuts like Ducktales, D+D, Shantae, Slender, Never Alone etc.
I nabbed the Swapper, D+D and Never Alone.
I would, but GAF has convinced me that the low resolution means the game looks like total crap.
I few thoughts going through my mind this morning:
Check-out the eshop and see if there's a Christmas sale on for Americans
Image and Form is a small team so they can really develop for only one platform at a time. They had their most success on the 3ds so they're going to do that one first once again.
But I think you probably are better off waiting for a console version of the game. Don't get me wrong it is very good but this is definitely a game that I think would be better on a bigger screen rather than a handheld.
I wish Nintendo would have a virtual console sale. 75% off like Steam.
BTW that Tekbotic charge cable I bought for Wii U is great. I have it plugged into the back usb along with an ethernet cable...and in the front I have an external HDD taking both slots. All works fine. Cable turns the Gamepad into a wired controller. Its nice and durable too....real thick. 10 feet long like Steel's shlong.
The Curve games are 80% off in the sale, The Swapper, Stealth inc 2 etc.
Seriously cheap prices.
That's how I feel about Splatoon, the free updates have made the year very interesting. Speaking of which, the two new maps aren't in rotation so far today dagnamit.
The text size in Xenoblade Chronicles X isn't too small for me but the only seats I sit in in my living room are 3' for one seat and about 8' away for the other. My TV is a 42" HDTV. The only time I have trouble is when I'm on the other side of my living room which is about 15' away from the TV.
It also isn't the worst text I've seen most of the games on the 360 and PS3 were almost impossible to read when I played them on a CRT TV. I had to put my face against the TV screen to just barely make out what was written. Dead Rising was the worst offender that I've played.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I just don't understand how playtesters didn't bring the issue up.
