Not my BB thats why I stopped shopping there
Biggest story today is Bastion guys making a new game. If that Rumor abuot Sony taking FFXV exclusive is true that will be the topper, but we'll likely not know until E3 (which would explain Squares strange comments at the PS4 launch).
Oh damn FF a PS exclusive again would be crazy. To bad they wont get the game till 2017.
New Bastion guys game looks sweet.
ATTN: If you have a Wii U and you DO NOT get Lego City Undercover, you are doing it wrong! I've been flip-flopping, back and forth about whether or not I should get it, finally cancelling my order yesterday when GameStop gave me the old "It'll get here when it gets here" line.
READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY: I have been reading the previews since the Wii U launch about how this game is of a different calibur than the other Lego games, about how much content it has, and how enjoyable it is to play, and it made me curious ----BUT---- I have not liked --ANY-- Lego games in the past. Not Lego Indiana Jones. Not Lego Batman. Not Lego Lord of the Rings. NONE. OF. THEM. They felt like overly simplistic, poorly controlling, children's games.
I. LOVE. LEGO. CITY!

I happened to be in this upscale, superstore today, Targé, I believe it is called, buying a cover **rubbers** for my garden hose **wang** saw --ONE COPY-- it in the Game Section, and said: "What the fuck! Why not?"
**I am going through some heavy shit right now and have been for a few months that I will NOT disclose here out of respect for people who've had MUCH greater losses than anything I've had on my hands... BUT my point is...**
It simply makes my heart glad to play it and is imbued with --SUCH-- a carefree, childlike sense of fun, you --CANNOT-- help but smile and sincerely enjoy EVERY moment you are playing this game! If you've EVER owned ANY Legos in your life, you will see something you recognize and it --WILL-- bring you immediately back in time!
The humor is on point. The gameplay is SOLID and the whole Lego gimmick works FLAWLESSLY. You can absolutely see WHY this game caught Nintendo's eye and WHY they published it themselves. It is THAT good! The city is alive. The environment is wonderfully crafted. There's just SO much to do and see, you will surely get EVERY. LAST. CENTS. WORTH. out of this game! There's so many studs to collect. So many bricks to grab. MUCH of the world is destructable, so it is as much fun to tear down as it is to build again! I played the game for an HOUR straight, grinning the whole time. I got the Police Computer working in the station where it shows your Game Completion stats and my jaw --DROPPED-- when it read .03% after a FULL HOURS PLAY!!
I --MUST-- emphasize again: IF YOU OWN A Wii U, you --MUST-- get this game. If you normally HATE Lego games, then this game is even MORE of a necessity. It will banish the hate from your heart. If you --DON'T-- get this game, then just return your U now... there's obviously --NO-- making you happy. The next person who cries "There's no Wii U games!" Here's your answer. If you choose to ignore it, then it's not the U, it's you!
If your answer is: "When pigs fly!" Well then...
I also picked up Most Wanted U and will give impressions after dinner!
No its the Wii U.
I will get the game when its $15 though, looks great. Anyway I am not buying anything that I wont play immediately and that game does not interest me enough at all to buy it. Yes its tempting cause its a Wii U game but I need to ask myself, would I even consider buying this game full price if it was just any other PS3/360 release and the answer would be a no. And so it joins the list of a ton of games i would get buy much cheaper.
I am still waiting on games I would buy at launch like Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 (maybe). And of course any Zelda, Mario or Metroid.
Thanks for the impressions though, sounds great. I may get it in the mail as a rental this weekend so maybe I can try it out.
So now I'm confused and a bit conflicted. I don't think I made a mistake. I entered it. It worked. I wasn't hallucinating. But Nintendo says the transaction doesn't exist. So either I'm crazy or they messed up. Anyway I know its just $20, but I'm getting a real bad feeling about this.
Oh and fuck the eShop for not taking American Express.
Give it a couple more days, maybe it's just out of synch.
And also because Amazon France (which turns out to be how Nintendo announces western releases these days) just said you can soon be playing DQX on it.
Yeah I know. DQX.... but you know EverQuest Next isn't far away either
I have purchased a bunch of new games recently, most are still sealed, so what am I playing now? Tomb Raider . . . again. And I'm still loving it!
Goddamnit. Welp, time to buy a WiiU, it seems...
That new Monster Hunter game looks really awesome. Anyone here playing it?
Despite my frustration with Nintendo, I'll be picking it up later today. The Wii version was a ton of fun, though I abandoned it after about 45 hours because it was getting too difficult for me. The game is for the hardcore, make no mistake about it. But reviews have said they've done a better job in adjusting the difficulty curve so I'm hoping that'll make it just a bit easier. So between that, the better online co-op, and all the extra additions to weapons and monsters there seems to be more than enough reason to give the game a second try.
I'll make an early prediction. If Microsoft waits to announce the always online feature for their E3 conference, there will be boo'ing in the crowd.
There's some confusion here. Does this mean you need to be online to play? Or is it like the Wii, always online, even when the machine is turned off? Then the Wii gets very hot, plus the blue light comes on at 5am, wakes you up, only to see that it's some crappy message from Reggie.
