No more Big Mac's, Taco Bell, Whoppers, double cheeseburgers, Jumbo Jacks, or Big Carl's for me, I've had it with them!
This past weekend, I felt like I was going to die. I don't know what it was, but it was definitely something I ate from Carl's Jr or Taco Bell, since that's where I went for dinner. I got so sick that I vomited all night and the following morning. Everything I ate, drank, or burped, it came out as vomit. My throat and stomach is in so much ache right now, it hurts when I swallow.
It was a nightmare.
It's a good thing I'm feeling better now after I forced myself to diarrhea the bacteria infested cesspool that was lingering in my stomach. Still, I'm feeling the long term effect. I didn't eat for three days, only wanting to eat fruit and bread. I finally got myself to eat some cottage cheese, and that was some of the best thing I ever ate in my life! Starving a few days helped me to think that cottage cheese was the tastiest thing in the world. But at least it's some protein and calcium.
I just don't feel like eating anything right now. The good news is I'm feeling better and I got a couple of days off from work which allowed me to sleep in. Sleep and rest is the best medicine for any illness, so it feels very comforting right now. Also, I guess I lost some of those holiday pounds, LOL!
Other than that, I think I lost my appetite for good. During this time, I realized that fruits and grains are God's greatest gift to mankind. On my first day of this food-born illness, I ate no solids but only drank 100% juices and some Gatorade. The next day, I finally ate some solids only eating fruits and some bread. Without those things, I would've starved to death. I love fruits now.
But I guess it'll be a blessing in disguise because I'm going to make it my goal to eat healthier from now on. No more Big Macs but more Subway. No more greasy cheese burgers but it's Arby's roast beef sandwiches for me. I don't even feel like eating grilled chicken or any fish either, and I love sushi and salmon.
Maybe my taste will come around, but eating healthy and fresh will be my lifestyle.

Nevertheless nothing can beat home cooking for me full stop.
Good thinking man. The other plus about Subway is that they make it in front of you, so you know they aren't griefing you with bodily fluids etc...
Footlong veggie lovers with extra pepperchinos please. No mayo.
They spit into the salads in the morning then mix it all together.
Carl's Jr AND Taco Bell for dinner??? Dude I think I found your problem.
Anyway, it's never bad to reduce fast food intake. I've pretty much given it up at this point with the exception of McDonald's breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Other than that I don't touch any of that food these days. Still it's tough to match the speed and convenience of those places.
Good luck staying off of it, but don't forget every now and then it is okay to eat it. Everything in moderation and all that crap you know?
Is this you on the right ASK?
It is easy to stop eating fast food. Just eat higher quality of food, like grill your own hamburger or buy it at a higher quality burger joint. The name escapes me, but those burgers were damn good.
Alternatively try Greek or Serbian food, they are known for their grilled meat dishes. It tastes better and it is healthier too. I have not eaten fast food in months and I don't miss it at all.
Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not become a vegetarian. Vegetarians are pure evil.
