P.S. Excuse my addled recollection if this has been explained elsewhere, but do you originate from GameSpot or the Ring of Fire; or did you actually happen upon the site spontaneously?
I hail from the proud clan of Gamespot prior to Gerstmanngate. If anything I'm a VU wanker. I stumbled upon this place after following Phantom_Leo through the rabbit hole, chasing the rumour that GG resided here.

The Virtual Underground. Similar story to the Ring of Fire I suppose, although what's left of the VU these days is very much dead. 'Twas home for a long time though.
