I'm surprised Capcom wouldn't jump at this game.  All they'd have to do is put a sticker on it that says, "by the makers of Resident Evil" and they'd guarantee themselves 100,000 copies sold.  Given what they expected Chop Till You Drop to sell just based on name value, I can't see why they wouldn't take a shot at publishing this.

It doesn't look commercial at all. I wouldn't greenlight it if I had the power. I would want guns and explosions or japanese horror.

Yeah, it looks in the middle of everything. Not awkward enough to have a ringu-like girl, nor steroid-pumped enough to supply awkwardness with lead and fire.

They simply could not get behind a survival horror title on the Wii. In spite of great sales for Resident Evil 4 and the Umbrella Chronicles, these groups were unable to support the projections required to create a viable P&L for the title. The idea of an "adult" game on what they perceived to be a "kids" console was simply too big a leap for them, regardless of the enthusiastic support of the PD department and the Wii's total domination in the marketplace.

Okay... then why not go forward with the same companies and develop it for the 360?  Something's not on abuot this guy's story.

These guys made Geist. Who is going to give them $25 million to make a 360 game?

They would be better fixing Geists control and frame rate, add some special features and release it as play on Wii.
