I also got an early 80s style indie game called Donut Dodo for $3 on sale.
Oooh, Donut Dildo! Sounds fun. Hopefully they nailed the gameplay.

I played it during lunch today. I really like it. It fits in well with the early '80s style of arcade games. It's challenging and quite fun to play.

I guess that's aimed at people who pikced up the series with the zero and kiwami remakes. Not bad for yakuza zealots, but if someone were new to the series at this point I'd say start with zero and the kiwamis then skip ahead to Like a Dragon.
again, for me 3 4 and 5 are all very good, but they are likely feeling their age at this point.
robio said:I was actually going back and forth debating whether or not to get the collection or skip to 6: Song of Life. I've got like a dragon waiting, but I'd like to try to get through as much of the earlier games as I can. I'm sure they're going to be kind of rough, but I'll give it a shot. I just played through the saboteur, so I'm back in a 2010 kind of mind frame.
If it helps, I think playing at least one traditional Yazuka game is required before Like a Dragon, but there is no added enjoyment from having played all of them before jumping into Like a Dragon. While each game in the series has it's own story, and 3 is certainly one of the ones that departs from it in a very sweet and touching way, for the most part every game follows the same rhythm and theme.
Took advantage of the stem summer sale and picked up Teardown, A Plague Tale, Indika and Sniper Elite 4. I am eager to play all as soon as possible.
I got a sealed, physical copy Pinball Arcade (PS4). It has 20 tables, including the both Elvia tables, and I like most of them.
Hot Wheels Unleashed for PS5 with the season packs and car DLC for $12 on PSN. It's a fun gameplay mix of Rush 2049 and F-Zero GX. Had I known that earlier, I would have picked it up sooner.
Now I need a wheel...
Picked up Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance for the PS5. Best Buy had it for $65 so figured it’d be a good time to grab it. Did enjoy the original on the Switch and am looking forward to checking out the new content in this version.
I've bought Dragon's Dogma II, Pools and Slay the Princess.

Indika was an interesting one. It felt like it could have been a weird, old Soviet movie.

Thanks! I'll wishlist it and keep an eye on it..
