In Endless Ocean walk to the far left of your boat and click on the gate, your code is there. But you can only play with people in your region so I assume North america would be your region and canada too.

In Animal Crossing, make sure WC24 is on and your router is on etc. Then go to the gate in your town (uppermost north center) and talk to the dog on the right. He will issue you a code. Then if you hit the heart symbol on the pop up menu you can add codes and see your own. If you see the online code thread you can find our codes, just let us know if you add anyone in that thread.

Your Wii system code can be found by clicking the notebook symbol in the corner on the Wii windows page. You can find our system codes too in the thread. Smash Bros code is I assume in the multiplayer section of that game.

I hate WiiConnect 24, I turned it on, but the system seems to get a bit hot at all times. Is that right?

I started this morning, so awesome. So fucking awesome.
You know, everyone has to find some balance in every activity. Be that work, reading, gaming or whatever. What I have found in Animal Crossing is exactly that, balance. An opportunity to kick back, chill out, and enjoy both the game and what it has to offer as well as myself in the process, without worries of any kind.
And all I did this morning was visit some of my neighbors, start helping Tom in his store, and eat a few cherries. I had no money and he still sold me a house.
The town landscape was snowy, nice touch.

Mine feels warm, but not hot.

Woot! I got the gold Fishing Trophy in the mail today from Chip, the Fishing Tournament judge!

Yesterday, I was in a dead heat against Kitty, who just kept getting larger fish than me in the Fishing tournament, but in the last hour, I snagged a whopping 86-inch tuna! That ended the competition right there. The only way Kitty could've beat that was to get her own tuna or maybe a shark. Winning is fun! Happy

GG, I sent you a coconut that washed up on my beach this morning.

I'm confused by your axe letter, did you already have an axe before I sent you my spare?

Avery just gave me a lunar lander!

Some Wiis have a problem with the heatsink where if you leave WiiConnect 24/7 on constantly, it will overheat and damage your GPU, which will make the display screw up or maybe you won't be able to see the game at all. But if you've had it on for months without any issues, it's not likely to be a problem. I'm pretty sure if your Wii is defective it will burn out after you have it on for a week. I still turned mine off just to be safe. After reading a thread about it on Gamespot (like a year ago), I went and checked my Wii and it was warm... so yeah, off it went.

Also Raven are you taking those pictures from in-game and emailing them to yourself through the Wii, or do you have some special video capture thing?

I also heard about that heating problem, but I think it has only affected a small amount of consoles. There are fans that can be bought that plug into the USB port, and provides cooling for when the console is turned off. I don't have one, so I have no idea if they work.

My Wii is warm, but it does not get hot. It's not semantics, Steel. There is a difference. A hot cup of coffee can burn you, but a warm donut can be a very enjoyable treat.

Yarcofin, I'm taking the pics in-game, saving them onto an SD card, and then transferring them to my PC through its built-in SD card slot.

I found the first hour annoying doing the Nook jobs, but that is how they introduce you into the games basic functions. The great bit about animal crossing is the real time calender. For instance people who picked up the game in November in the US have been playing on a normal landscape, one day they read the notice board and it says that heavy snowfall is predicted. A couple of days later they turn on the game and open that front door and suddenly the whole town is snowed over.

It's a game where so little changes from day to day that when something does change you are like GASP or Grinning

To make life easier on yourself though you really have to at least pay off your mortgage and get some more room and make some cash on the stalk market. I can donate you some good stuff and tons of fruit so you can make cash. If you come over to my town online with empty pockets you can pick my peach trees dry and make a few thousand bells.

On Wii Connect 24, I would be careful if your Wii is nearing the end of its guarantee. Mine has red and green dots because of it, though I hear that that was a problem with launch units which I have. The best thing to do really is to leave WC24 on but turn the Wii off by holding down the power button on the machine till the power light goes red and NOT orange. That way you can still have WC24 on when the machine is on and yet it wont overheat while on constant standby.

Do you have an SD Card Steel? If you plug one in the front of your wii you can just hit the 1 button to take pics and 2 to keep them.

Yeah my new Nook and Go store opened and the axe was there. Have to get chopping. Wouldn't mind some help in replacing a few peach trees with foreign fruit.

Oh BTW, had a massive F-up last night. I've started leaving my gate open whenever I play this game except for when I go to the city (you cant go to the city and catch the bus when your gate is open).

So I'm playing and get some cool items and catch this massive ******* Tuna and its huuuuuge. And I wanted to show it off to you guys I was so proud of it. And then the screen changes to this warning thing and it says that the game has been disconnected from WC24 and that progress since the last save may be lost. Hit any button to reset. So I push the button and it goes back to the title screen and 45 minutes of play is lost. WTH?

Why should losing an internet wireless link make me lose the progress I have made? Come on. Now I'm thinking that I should only open my gate when I know someone is definetely coming.

How extensive is the farming in this game? Because what I really want is a Harvest Moon style game, not just picking up crap and selling it. I know you can plant fruit trees, but can I actually make a full-sized garden with rows and rows of vegetables?

You might want to wait for Rune Facture the Wii version.

Hmm, thanks for the info, guys. I think I'll do the GG trick and keep WiiConnect on but turn the system off manually. The last thing I need is another system dying on me. And yeah, I'd love to crash at your town someday, GG so you can give me stuff for free! Grinning
I'll add your codes later today. It's a shame I start nightshifts this week, as that will leave me little spare time on weekends to play this wonderful game. I have an issue with this: I only have time to play it at night, and its real time feature leaves me with practically no things to do at 1 in the morning. Lol, WTF am I supposed to do?

That happened to me once when I tried to go to a friends town. His internet crashed while it was linking us up, and I got that same screen. Thankfully, the game saves right before you leave a town, so I didn't lose anything, but it sure scared me at first because I had played for about an hour before I tried going to his town.

I used to work nightshifts too when I played AC on Gamecube. I was always playing the game in the nighttime hours, so I switched the AM and the PM in the game's clock (it's in the options before you load your town), so that 1AM was actually 1PM in the game.

The only vegetable that you can grow is a red turnip, but you only get one of those at a time. You can breed flowers in a garden, though. AC is more about gardening, than farming.
