I played about 15 minutes of that game. It sucks balls as Edgecrusher would say. I hate it. It looks crap, there is barely any decent platforming. It's just a relic. Sorry man, 
So what time is the next podcast? I want to get a mic and get on eventually. What is this Skype thing then? Is an account free? Do you need to download software? How do you guys record it to mp3?

Skype is a nifty program that lets you make calls OVER TEH INTERNETS! You have to DL a little installation file and you're good to go.
I have a microphone for you as well.
Like Steel said, Skype is a free VOIP service that lets you talk free to anyone online, and call landlines for less than traditional phones. You can even get Skype phones, if you want to have your internet on all the time or if you're always in wifi areas.
Basically it's like voice chat on instant messengers but specifically devoted to voice. Although it also lets you do video chat or just text as well.

Haha, if that's what you want then we need to get our friend Danny over. But then you're asking for pure chaos and you should write off trying to get anything constructive out of that episode.
I could do it except:
1. I am currently at university 2-3 hours away from Derek's house.
2. Even when in town, I'm not typically at his house at either 12 am nor 7 am
I could use the built-in mic on my laptop to do it from here, it's not the best but has surprisingly decent quality for what it is. I would prefer to do it when my roommate isn't here though is the only thing. Even if I close my door, I just don't feel that comfortable having people overhear me talking about video games with Australians. hahaha. I'm sure it carries through the wall to some extent.
So whats going on this weekend? I think I am good for tomorrow night. I am not waking up early, what if we do it like 2-3am that is like 8am for you guys, then you can wake up early.

Ok lets go. Well as long as homer is around, he knows what to do. Without him it would just be us three not having a clue what to do.
Really enjoyed the podcast and I can't wait for more. Here's hoping for a quick submission to iTunes so that I can add the feed to my (now shrinking) podcasting library. I do agree that there were a few technical issues, but the content was entertaining and everyone's voices were pretty consistent so issues can be forgiven. Plus, not everyone has the time to edit the show into "1Up Yours-like" quality, otherwise there's such a thing as cutting or editing too much (for example, my old podcast).
