Are you going into the Game, going into Extras, going into Shift Codes and hitting 'X' at the 'Shift Code' Option?
If you are trying to redeem them through the Xbox Menu, it won't work.

I already --LOVE-- Mr. Torgue and hope he doesn't turn out to be --EVIL-- like Handsome Jack, cause he's one of the most memorable characters in the game!
