Well, I just got one and Sunset Overdrive.

So far I have Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5, Masterchef Collection and Tomb Raider... so that should keep me busy for a while. I'm looking forward to playing around with the XB1.
But for now, back to the Retron 5.
I used to consider getting a PS4 for a while, but then MS came with the backwards compatibiity and since then I'm heavily leaning towards an Xbone as I never had a PS3 or 360. Perhaps I'll take the plunge once the available 360 games are expanded upon some more. Xbone's can be had pretty cheap these days though. I saw a 1T SDK with digital downloads for both Tomb Raiders the other day for about €330.

PS3/XB360 was a great generation, you missed so many games. So I see you point about leaning XB1. Proabably the best way though would be to get a cheap PS3, cheap 360 and the ten essential games for each platform, and then make a decision for the current gen based on the current gen's offerings.
With PS4 offering only pay-for-play backward compat, and with the XB1 at the mercy of the publishers for approving b/c, you'll never get an optimal environment fo playing last gens' games other than buy gettign a last gen console.

As someone who, even with only one console, manages to build op a backlog of unplayed games, I never found it reasonable to buy another console. It's the same thing that's stopping me now. Anyhow, there's not many games I'd consider playing... Vanquish, Catherine, Viva Piniata, perhaps Journey. furthermore I find €300 for an Xbone to be a more intereting proposition over €150 for a 360. I don't really do second hand...
