The HD stuff is accomodated by the silver mux under the TV and 2 autoswitching HDMI hubs daisy chained together.

The legacy set up is facilitated by this:

Here it is, sorry for all the posts, I have trouble editing posts sometimes.

The crazy thing about the legacy setup up it that it is all contingent on this tiny plug that converts a regular AV input into a composite one, and then all those others are plugged in through it.

The RF systems go through the coaxiam on the back (amazingly).

I still want a Retron 5 though, as cool as having the original stuff is.

A working Collecovision is a big one, but given how much trouble the old RF hardware is to get working I'm still mulling it over.

I posted the NeoGeo photo seperately, editing glitch sorry.

What I would like some advice on, is my audio setup on the new rig is from the mid-90's. I need advice on modernizing, I've done some reaseach but I'm so far out of touch with the use of HDMI for audio I don;t know where to start.

Then they have these sound bars these days, to confuse things.

So is it true that the Atari 5200 is the largest console ever made?

It's about the same sise as a Neo  Geo! Where Neo kills it though the Neo carts are almost as big as the console!

So are they basically hubs, where you plug all you hdmi consoles into it and then they just have normal old fashioned speakers?

It's the same width as any A/V equipment, but it is deeper. I had to do maintenance on one years ago and there is nothing inside, it's just a tiny little board. All hollow plastic.  You can keep your games in it (the top opens up for storage.

Really, it;s not all that bigger than an original PS3. Original PS3 is definately the heaviest console of all time.

Not that I could afford them, but what are they?

I think I have about 7 games for the NEOGEO.

This is the final version of what we got a glimpse of on YouTube?* If so: it has come together nicely. Though, I would replace the vase with a black one, so as not to upset the colour continuity. Nyaa

*In that video, I think only the shelves were there.

That's a hell of a setup Aspro....you rival AlphaOmegaSin and a few others I've seen. I thought mine was cool but you just blow it away.

My stereo is a 2005 Sony. It does 7.1 but I only have a 5.1 setup...7.1 imo is overkill and who has room for that many speakers? It has 4 HDMI hookups on the back, so I run the out to TV and plug everything right into the stereo. It automatically sends video to TV and audio through the reciever. I actually need a new one though, this one is starting to die on me. Every once in awhile the center channel craps out. I guess the Solder joints inside melted down, kind of like the early 360 models.
