I see it building in every episode of Game of Thrones and I just cannot fathom it.

So geographically we can assume that the series is set broadly in a fantasy Great Britain - the north vs south parellels and accents/culture/prosperity etc. The wall at the top separating a fictional Scotland where red haired people live.

So Daenerys has been swanning about what we would assume to be the Middle East or Northern Africa at this point.

She is the descendant of an evil mad asshole. She's building an army of foreigners. Her plan is to take said army of Middle Eastern/Turks/North Africans, put them on a bunch of ships. Then sail back to England and ass rape everyone to install herself back on the throne.

On the one hand she can't even hold a single city without being in for the long haul. As soon as she and her army leaves it turns to shit.

How is the indiginous population of England going to greet this army of tanned horse riding foreigners when they appear at the coast and start riding about slaughtering people? Isn't it more likely that the whole of the country would unite against Daenerys invading army then welcome it?

What happens in the years to come? Is the army of the Khalesi going to set up permantly to live in the UK? If not what happnes when they want to go home?

Who exactly in the fictional UK is going to welcome her or her army? Just what is the plan here? It seems that whenever she wants support, she burns a bunch of people, stands naked and has masses of people fall at her feet like a messiah. Is that her plan?

If this happens, I'm not sure how I will feel. It already feels wrong to me just how easily this woman whose only skill seems to be having pet Dragons, can assure and gain such support, as easily as she does. If she swans in at the end of the series and takes the throne at the end of it all, it will feel somewhat inevitable given the way the story has gone so far. And it will right royally piss me off and sour my feelings to the series as a whole when it does.

I assumed there would be an alliance of the Goodies vs the Baddies. But what actual links are there between these people? I can't think of any.

The closest thing we have to her links to the fictional UK is Tyrion. Who is a disgraced fugitive who seemingly killed the king.

I'm not watching the series, only reading the books.  If you ask me, RR Martin could be perfectly content to have all parties squabling over territory only to have the white walkers obliterate them all.  I would approve of this high-level trolling.

That battle will finally be the battle of ice and fire.

Personally I think the key will be the third option, not sure if he's been mentionned in the series.  No way Daenerys will be able to convince her riders to cross the sea, let alone manage to arrie with them in Westeros.  She'll arrive with nothing but her dragons.  But candidate 3 could rally enough troops and could woo Daenerys to his side.
