To be honnest I prefer it that way. Our island is way too crowded. That's why I have my Refuge, weeds and all.

So here's a thing. Me and the wife were playing AC yesterday. She was playing on our primary Switch, I was playing on our new Switch Light. Through the mysterious magic of how Nintendo tackles having multiple accounts on multiple Switches, we can play the same single digital copy of Animal crossing on both Switches, each on our own account.
Anyhow, I had my gates open, because I'm that kind of guy. All of a sudden I get notified that Travo is travelling to my refuge. Being a good host, I welcomed him, but was met with eerie silence from his side.
Turns out that his comments were being sent to our primary Switch on my wife's game. That's some good QA testing right there Nintendo!

I tried visiting Loveshack but it said people were busy and wouldn't let me.
My wife was talking to someone. I tried to rush her to finish, but she will not be rushed.
