I didn’t see his trawler yet but he was wandering around on my island the other day and wanted to sell me a common painting for like half a million bells, I said No Way Jose! He then dropped it to around 5,000 bells so I bought it and gave it to Blathers so the museum can be expanded.

after repeated attempts yesterday I could not get on the boat. Then I paid for his common painting and gave it to the museum today the new Museum has opened. And I can access the inside of his ship from the secret beach at the north of the island. Bought a painting of Aphrodite. How can you check if these art items are fake?
Use an X-Ray that you buy from Nooks or hold it up to the light. Or....
Well it didn’t take long for me to buy my first fake. Got it first try.
