Well both are true, if you go by train to Belgium, you can instantly see when you cross the border. Dutch have lots of neighbourhoods, with the same houses. The Belgians each have a different house.

Whoa, whoa.  This post may be over a decade old now, but as a Belgian and an architect I can't let this slip: The reason the Dutch all live in similar (and very small) houses is because their government is very strict.  Here in Belgium, everyone's dream is to be able to build their own oversized, ugly house.  You want to live in a Spanish villa?  We've got you covered.  You want to live in a modernist cube?  Sure thing!  I could go on and on.

What I always find hilarious is the Dutch's English accent.  Whenever I read something online where a Dutch speaking person is talking in English, I can't help but read it in their funny accent.  Thruth to be told: our's isn't better.  Except for me.  I sound perfectly normal.

Not all of them. Some live on tulip farms.
