LOL So RoF sucks more that we do Nyaa

I'm not even allowed in the RoF.  So they must suck more. LOL

Wait you have to be invited to post there?

I guess so. I went there once out of curiosity because dvader was talking about it, and I got a "You are not allowed" page.

So why is Edge telling us to post there, we can't?! And the GGD is deader than the US economy!

Holy crap Beaver trying to start something. LOL

I dont think Edge is gone, like he is never coming back, he'll come around.

Yes RoF is closed, its our little place to just hang out and talk about games freely without fear of moderation (we still have to follow the terms of service of course).

For everyone's info (I know you know, vader), Skylock's in the RoF now and he's actually turned out to be a cool guy when he feels like he won't need to moderate posts.

Hmmm I see you have put a link in Vader's VG press podcast thread! What have you done! Our worlds are colliding. The demons of GS are going to enter our realm of light and destroy us! Nyaa

P.S. who is that in your avatar?

Its obvious at this pointthat its not growing beyond that, and if they really want to talk withmore posters, well, why not just come back [to GameSpot]. or go someplace else?

Now this, my friends, is BS at its finest.

If I recall correctly, we were already there.  Perhaps the fact that GameSpot is a dishonest, glitchy, slow, overmodded, overrun site that we all had enough of?

But hey, let's go "someplace else."  Like 1up.com by chance?  Home to the world's most homogenized forums and the site that couldn't handle GG Weekly resulting in a broken blog.  The site that I compromised?

And I think I missed the memo where we simply wanted "more posters."  We don't want "more posters" we want more friends.  We're open to the public, but what makes this place enjoyable are the people who are here.  More people isn't inherently better; in fact, we've found through experience that it's often worse.

It's only like that because Edge left.

When I think of this place, I think about how we came here. Gamespot was getting worse, we left, chatted among friends on 1up in blogs. I did a one blog per week concept to keep people together and then people wanted a site that ran better and then they wanted forums. Gertmassgate etc. To me I still remember us all chatting on GGW on 1up. It's a hang out spot, I know there are people here that use this place as a secondary forum. That's a reality.

I don't want to get into some pissing match with ROF guys, we are all friends just in different places.

If we are talking ROF moderation, I've found the concept patronising considering what I've been told in the past about moderations being evenly applied.

Too late, Vader's thread (PS3 not just for for games anymore...) ROF 12 posts, VGPress 13 replies (that would be 14 posts).

We are winning our piss is drowning the ROF! Nyaa

No the one in GS, not here.

Felix, from Golden Sun. Grinning

The Golden Sun series needs a new game. A while ago there was a hoax claiming that GS3 would be on the DS, and there was even a picture of the title screen on the DS to back it up. But alas, as I said, it was a hoax.

I can't decide if I want the next one to be on the DS or the Wii. Camelot could do some cool stuff with it in 3D, but I'd be afraid that it would seem too divergent from the GBA games, and there would be a higher chance of botching something. If it were to go to the Wii, I'd want access to the older games, either on the VC or on the GS3 disc. Hell, who am I kidding, I want them on the VC now, anyway. I guess maybe a DS or DS2 installment would be best. I dunno.

But speaking of GBA games... I've brought this up before and I feel like doing so again, even though whoever I mentioned it to last didn't care much: Nintendo needs to put GB, GBC, and GBA games on the VC... and they need to have done it last year! Seriously. It might be the Virtual CONSOLE, but I see no reason they couldn't put handheld games on there. If they're worried about upscaling... well, there have been two Nintendo devices now that have let us play handheld games on our TVs: the Super Game Boy for the SNES and the Game Boy Player for the GC. It shouldn't be so hard. Are they just lazy?

So here's my list for what I want playable on the Wii:

Golden Sun
Golden Sun 2
Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
Zelda: Oracle of Ages
Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Zelda: The Minish Cap

What else can you guys think of? I get the impression that many of you might not have been major handheld gamers until the DS, though, if even then, so I don't expect much in the way of replies. *insert angry face that I don't know the keys for*

Beaver, you got a Smash Code? Enter it on the online code thread and add us. There are about 8 people here with the game and we can have a event once everyone is registered.

I don't actually know what codes I have, since I don't have my Wii online right now. Not sure if I can get it online with the WiFi adapter here in my dorm room, since the University doesn't allow networking like that. I've tried it before, but it never worked. And at home on my computer I keep getting some stupid sharing error that I don't know how to resolve. I may have to buy the other device if I can't get my WiFi adapter working.

Forgot Metroid 2. I think it's the only one that we don't have access to on current systems.

I was a big gba player. System was an unsung hero, as well having a resurgence of classic content like SNES content they introduced the west to fire emblem and advance wars, two new metroid platformers, castlvania and rpgs. Superb system. If I play them I do so on DS though. Otherwise I have a gameboy player on GC, funny enough I think I got it free from club nintendo Europe years ago.

I want a proper Golden Sun on a home console although I would take a DS game, with a decent map for the dungeons this time as GS2 dungeons were hard to navigate.

Golden Sun or the demand that Nintendo get off its ass and put old handheld games on the VC?
