Well, I never see him online unless we are scheduled to play together.  C'mon, Aspro, we need you back!

He hasn't used his PS3 in weeks... now I just hope he is ok.

WTF of course he's ok. He's just done with people now. This has little to do with whatever happened in here, BTW. He kind of came off as someone trying to sever all ties with society, and that's been like that for a while now. I guess he finally succeeded, I wish him the best.

From Kotaku:

Dragon Quest Spin-Off Rocketing onto the Nintendo 3DS

The Rocket Slime spin-off was an enjoyable Nintendo DS outing. Its 3DS sequel aims to be the same, but for the 3DS.

The second entry in the Dragon Quest Heroes was localized as Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime back in 2006 when it was released in North America.

The third entry, which I guess could be localized as Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 2 is slated for the Nintendo 3DS on November 2. A direct translation of the game's title is Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: The Great Pirate Ship and the Tails Brigade.

The game promises epic sea battles and epic shooting-Slimes-out-of-cannons.

Can't you message him on PS3 anyway regardless of whether he is online? Maybe he has turned silent mode on, assuming PS3 has that option.

He's not going online ever again, by the looks of it, or at least in any way that means social interaction. Think about it, it takes a massive pair of brass balls to ditch an already established life and move all across the world to a place with little to no communication possibilities, then building your own house from scratch with your very own fucking hands and grow your own shit in your farm. When a guy like that makes a decision, he's not backpedaling or thinking again. It's as good as set on stone.

I'll drink to him and his huge clanking balls tonight.

As far as I know he was originally an Aussie, went to work in California for an IT firm? Make a fuck ton of money, enough that he never has to work again. Then moved back to Aussietrailia.

Well to me severing all ties with society is not ok. Everyone is different so I am sure he is physicaly ok, I just hope he is mentaly ok.
