Are you ready to dive into a real city simulator? The kind that puts a special emphasis on transportation? The kind that makes you lift up that skirt you've been wearing and finally find your balls that have been missing while you've played lesser games??  Well this is it! A-Train City Simulator!!! If you play just one game on the 3DS this year, this better be it you pansy!

As the newly promoted head of a local transportation agency, it's your job to make sure that both the city and its transportation system run smoothly! From buses, trains, and subways, you'll have to think about the best way to incorporate these into the city while avoiding possible bottlenecks and frustrated citizens.

Cities and trains....

Cities and trains!!!

CITIES AND TRAINS!!!!! AND HOT JAPANES BABES!!!!!

Coming soon.....and yeah other versions have been on PC for a while, but why play those when you could play this??

I still shudder from the DOS version, and it's 5000+ page manual.

There's no 5000 page manual this time, so clearly its improved.

I'd play it. Provided it isn't stupidly expensive (i.e. more than 10 dola or its pesos equivalent)

So this is funny. I'd forgotten that I made this thread years ago. At the time I was actually on friendly terms with the social media manager at Natsume (whose name I'm completely blanking on now). They had just lost the Harvest Moon distribution rights around this time, and they were starting to publish other obscure Japanese series at the time, in hopes something would possibly catch on.

This was my tongue in cheek way of trying to promote it, but she didn't find it nearly as funny as I did. Anyway, I just recently tried this series out for the first time, and goddamn this is insanely complex. I couldn't figure out the controls to save my life. Anyway, I'm thinking they've moved on, and that's probably for the best.

I feel like I missed out on something good. It's a shame how many good games got missed out on for the DS and Wii due to shitty box art that made them look like shovelware.

It is such an enjoyable game. I don't like stress-inducing games, but the pace of this one is like Tetris, where you feel like you are in control, then slowly you get more and more plates to spin until inevitably you just cannot keep up. Kind of Tetris meets the mood of Game Dev Story.
