I was hoping to find discounted copies of Jedi: Fallen Order and Links Awakening.
I'm keeping my eyes open for cheap Kingdom Hearts 3 copies. I think I saw it advertised for $15. I'm also considering a new tablet for gaming. Need to see if there's any good deal out there for that.
There’s a number of games that I have wanted to get but haven’t gotten to yet so if I see some of them for cheap then I’ll jump on them.

Maybe. One can hope. I remember seeing deals for GTA and Metal Gear games shortly after their release but this was ages ago.

You just mean a Switch, right?

When the real (non-handheld) Switch drops to $200 or has some super amazing pack-in bundle I'll get one. I just have no interest in Nintendo games these days. I chalk it to being a Wii U only gamer for a while. Kind of burned me out I think.

That's a steal for DQ11. Arguably still too much for VC4.

I know that feeling. I haven't been interested in many Switch games either. It's mostly been a retro arcade console for me.
I ordered a new Surface Pro 7 to replace my Pro 4 today. The one I was considering got a further price reduction to €799, so I bit the bullet and got it. I also ordered a suave burgundy coloured typecover and a pen both at 70% off. Combined savings amount to around €450. The pen is an old Pro 3 model, but they all work on all devices and even if it's a little less advanced, it's mostly for taking notes. I'm not going to attempt a digital recreation of the Sixtene Chapel with it.
As it's also close to Saint Niclaus, the European Santa who comes 3 weeks earlier, I've also been getting stuff the kids wished for. My son had the immaculate taste to ask for LM3, so I'll be able to blaze through that late next week as well. The youngest, while a bit too young to be asking for video games over toys, wanted some Pokémon figures, so he'll be getting a handfull of those amongst other things. We have raised them well.
It seems as if Black Friday has broken free of international borders, now being 'a thing' not relegated to the Northerh America's, but available in most of the western world. As such I thought it a good idea to give it its own thread.
What are you planning/hoping to be getting at the end of the week, if anything?
Personally, I'm looking to replace my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. It's still a capable machine in near pristine condition, but the fact that it only has 4Gig of RAM and it's now well over 3 years old are really holding it back, to the point where it's often sluggish at things I need for work. I've already noticed the new Pro 7's getting some sweet discounts, and am currently eyeing an i5 with 8gig of RAM, discounted from €1050 to €850, which is in the same ballpark as what I payed for my Pro 4. Wether I end up replacing the pen and keyboard as well will depend on if these see some reductions as well. If not, I'll just keep the ones I have a bit longer till a good deal pops up somewhere.
