I'll rent it. As someone who only enjoys the Halo fanchise for its single player anymore, a three hour campaign certainly doesn't warrant a purchase, and not concerned with multiplayer, neither does the Halo 3 DLC it comes packaged with.

Got ODST. Played it. Holy shit.  What am i looking at?  The openign cutscene looks like a bunch of plasticine midget marionettes.  And now I am playing, and somehow I've been transported back into the PS2 version of Red Faction.

It's not that simple.

I like it, but it's fucking ridiculous.

The hub world, the pupetry cutscenes (but not in a good way), the really bad dialog, the piano jazz when you are in the hub world... it all adds up to just pure hilarious entertainment.

On the good side though, I think Reach edged out Halo 4 for best Halo ever.
