I've had probably more, well actually definately more boating expereices than the average bear.  (Damnit now that means something different from when I was kid).

Anyway, tell us of your boating experiences and I'll share some of mine along the way.

I played Jaws on the NES. That's pretty much the length of my boating experience.

June of 2003, I went on a 7 day cruise in Alaska. It was an awesome trip.

That's not a boat!  That's a hotel on the high seas.  Still wonderful though.

Aren't you in Florida? How does this happen?

let me tell you a dirty secret about most floridians. We never go to the beach. We stay away from the water in general. The only exception we make is if it's a pool.

I've had several fond memories of fishing with my dad and uncle on my dad's tiny boat.  He won it at a school raffle back in the sixties and only paid a dollar for it.  There's plenty of times that we've fished, skied, tubed on Lake Murray. I've always wanted to go deep sea fishing but haven't made it yet.

Probably the best time on a boat was our cruise to the Keys and the Bahamas. My wife and I were in our honeymoon period, so yeah, good times.

Except for transplants, that's the case in California too!  Except in Florida you have good reasons to avoid the water, what with all those cubans and keys of cocaine floating in.
