Played a good bit of Portal 2 PS3 tonight, I find the game to be quite fun more so than the first. Maybe its just me I will have to play my 360 version of regular Portal get my AC points. But I got sick of the Steam pc version after playing the extra levels. For some reason Portal 2 seems fresh again.
Just got Mount & Blade: Warband. A true sandbox game in the purest sense of the word. $5.99 on Steam.
Got MK 360 for $30 shipped at amazon YEAH! got them to PM the TRU deal saved tax and hassle and trying to hunt one down at TRU which is sold OUT ! Rock solid!
I bought EA Sports Active 2.0
I have been using the original fairly consistenly over the last two years and have been quite pleased with the results (combined with my daily run it's replaced any need for a gym membership). Number 2 is by all accounts a good improvement so I look forward to using it. Wanted it since it was released but at £80 it was too expensive at launch but now it's very reasonable. This will likely be my GOTY

It does take some effort, but I have been bargining for years. What usually happens is the first few say no, then I keep trying back, if that does not work I start with I have been an Amazon customer for how many years? If it's not worth 10 dollars to you to keep my business and so on that usually works. I was a salesman for years I know how to get what I want everything is on the table you just have to ask and be persistant.

This reminds me so much of my dad. I've pulled that trick on occasion as well.
Got Crysis + Warhead, both for just over 6euro on the Steam EA sale.
I don't think my PC is good enough to handle those ... but they were so cheap

Two great games. Give them a try. Doesn't matter if the settings are low the best thing about them is actually gameplay and not the graphics.
Bought Medal Of Honor Airborn for my PC wtf $2.50 even if it sucks I don't care, and I never played I love these types of games.
Got Tropico 3 and its expansion, Absolute Power. I've been meaning to get this game and the gold edition for 5 bucks was a steal.
^nice. As I've said many times before I wish I had the PC version rather than the 360 one.
Just preordered the sequel to the game which completely consumed my soul a year and a half ago:

The best thing is that it's for the normal price of a new game. All the goodies are effectively pre-order bonuses. I wish more publishers would do that. I think I would be much more tempted to buy things on launch then. Having said that I would have bought this game on launch even if it was just a disc in an envelope.
___
I ordered a couple more games more just now:
- Tomb Raider Trilogy HD (PS3). Steel mentioned doing one or more of these as a gaming club thing and that sounds like a great idea so I thought I'd prepare for that.
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS3). This was a no brainer for me as it's the highly reviewed sequel to one of the best games I played last year. It's now about half-price which makes it a great buy
Fuckkkkkkk I just got my Portal 2 and I can't USE PSN godamn it. At least I got my Crisis 2 for 360 thank god.
