One of the larger Jedi Knight fansites http://jkdf2.net is back up, and they're hosting Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and its expansion pack, Mysteries of the Sith, for a week.

They have an in-browser IRC Applet on their their site, which people are using to keep track of games and users' IP's. I need more saber duelists to play, so come join.

Download Jedi Knight: (613MB)
http://jkdf2.net/dl/jkdf2_full.zip

Download Jedi Knight(Multiplayer Only Version): (50.8MB)
http://jkdf2.net/dl/jklight.zip

Download Mysteries of the Sith: (195MB)
http://jkdf2.net/dl/mots_full.zip

It's so old and my net connection is so bad. I like Jedi Knight though. How did you feel about force unleashed Coop?

I enjoyed the Force Unleashed. Starkiller is a badass.

I urge you all to get these games. While Jedi Outcast is the best of the series, JK2 is still quite fun.

Will my owned copies work with their IRC Applet?

I'm bringing [SeXy] back

Sorry, couldn't resist with the thread title. Nyaa Ah, no one will get that except Coop anyway. My genius is lost among you people.

I don't plan on using the IRC applet for now because I'm kind of paranoid about it tracking my IP, plus I'm pretty sure my IP at home is still not static... but anyone that wants to connect directly, I will, as Coopersville put it, be coming out of retirement. As of Saturday afternoon, I will be done exams and available pretty much all day, every day. I'd almost prefer to download Gamespot Arcade again, even if there is no one in the JK lobby except us.

Stuff I want to do:
- Traditional lightsaber duels in Canyon(?)
- Guns in that level with lots of rail guns
- Ninja Kage  6.0
- Snowboarding mod
- Explore the enormous map Caesar's Palace once again
- Lots and lots of hacking. Definately Clint Eastwood weapon pack.
- Other notable levels: Purgatory, Catwalk...  a high school one.... level with spawning enemies.
- Lay down 100 mines and step on them. Over and over and over and over and over.

I'll be easy to spot... the stormtrooper with the giant purple lightsaber. Nyaa

 Lol.

Go find a PC version! It's not that particularly hard to find.

I own the retail versions of JK and MoTS, and they work normally. I just downloaded the multiplayer-only file because it's smaller.

I barely got that... I don't even think that got mention in the old Internet Biography, it's so obscure.

They don't actually track your IP in IRC. There's command lines that you put in where you can include your IP address when you host a game, so people can look up what games are playing. If you never host a game, no one will ever know your IP.

How can I be cheap when I have no money? Cheap implies a small amount of money. You however have money. So you are being cheap by not buying me a DS, Jedi Knight, and Professor Layton.

Don't be cheap, Darth.
