I like to drink. I don't think that's a surprise or a secret. Not to excess, and really not even more than an occasional drink once or twice a week these days, but I have always enjoyed bar science and culture. So ive decided to do something about it and created a new blog: Vodka is a Vegetable.


Still working on finding the right voice for it. Trying to make it snarky without going into Dark Robio territory. Anyway if you're bored drop by and give it a visit. It's still early stage, but I did like the blog I wrote about grocery store wine.

Having browsed your website, I am disappionted that you didn't go for 'Rabout' and 'Rontacts' in your menu to compliment Reviews, Recipes and Ramblings.  You made Scooby Do sad.

edit: as a more serious, but no less sincere, advice: ditch the 'on mouse over' sliding overlays on your images.  It's very distracting while scrolling, especially when the images are often very large and the full width of your site.

Oh and thanks all for the comments, clicks, and suggestions. Like I said, it's still very much a work in progress, but I'm chugging along with it. And as far as a podcast, I'm thinking about it, but I'm not exactly sure what to do themewise with it. Trying to get some local friends involved with the idea too, but it's always pulling teeth to get other people to do a podcast.

Well the Australians didn't seem to have any problems, aside from recognizing fine British literature.
