One of the most bat-shit crazy, open-world games you'll ever see! Evolving weapons, equippable Hero perks and some of the most colorful graphics EVER in a game of this type... You grind, you gun, you melee attack, you completely customize your character... It's all tongue in cheek fun... but it WORKS! Truly one of the most overlooked console exclusives of this generation!

Hate to admit it, but it's not Mortal Kombat! 
Killer Instinct, after three seasons worth of content, featuring Training modes, Challenge mode, a Story mode, Multiplayer mode --AND-- the --EXCELLENT-- Shadow Lords single player mode... BLOWS Mortal Kombat X and XL out of the water!! Being a --HUGE-- fan of MK and Street Fighter, it pains me to admit it, but this game is untouchable by the other two. The characters are simple enough to master... sometimes the multiple styles of MK get to be too much... the characters are unique enough... the combos easy enough to pull off... but create an AWESOME tug-of-war syle of gameplay during the matches... There's just soooo much to this game!!
Shadow Lords has you fighting missions across the globe to capture continents back from the forces of Gargos. You gain Loot and Equippable items along the way...
The game keeps on being refined, both gameplay-wise and graphically... The specular effects in this game are MIND-BLOWING!!
It features (now) all of the original KI fighters from part One and Gold from the N64... but it also has numerous NEW fighters and GUEST fighters too... General Raam from Gears of War and Rash from BattleToads among them... AND they all fight well...!
I understand I'm rambling and running off with the keyboard here... but this game just has SOOOOO much going for it, it just has that effect on me!
INCREDIBLE GAME!! Don't let the fact that Rare didn't make this turn you off from trying this! The developers did MORE THAN an incredible job keeping the true feeling of both the original and a Rare quality game alive in here!!

Great impressions. Killer Instinct has certainly grown very nicely over these three years. I'm really looking forward to Dead Rising 4 also. I found DR3 to be a really good game too but with DR4 so close now I'm not sure if it's something you'd want check out.
