Why?  Is this justified?  Far Cry 2 is already at $36, Dead Space is $47.99...

As you are all sick of hearing my consoles are not hooked up at this time, so I've been watiing for price drops b4 I buy non-handhelds, so I've been eyeing LBP for a while. Shouldn't it have dropped by now?

Maybe Sony's trying to be more like Nintendo, and holding out for some long-term sales from LBP.

I do think that ultimately anyone who has a PS3 will buy LBP, so maybe that's what they are banking on.

Worth every penny. But I get what you are saying. Still you missed out on all the Christmas deals which had LBP going at $40.

LBP is the best game of this generation...

... so it isn't going to drop in price any time soon. Even older, lesser games are popular so they're still selling at full price, ie: Call of Duty 4.

They are but my TV's are not.  My systems and TV's are NTSC.  I don't have any of those fancy bi-TV's that can be noth PAL and NTSC.  One day this will be remedied.

Expanding the topic a bit, since I do buy cross-plat, I notice that except when a game is old (like Bioshock) the PS3 games are uniformly higher and less prone to price drops (unless they are games of questionable quality to begin with -- like Hail to the Chimp.  Gotta think this whole pricing issue that Sony has with games and their console isn't helping them out.

I've noticed that too. 360 games seem to be a good $20 cheaper on eBay a lot of the time.

Wait, no.  That couldn't...

They seem to have taken a joke from The Simpsons and based their entire game on that.

^Yeah.  I got is for the PS3 for under $10 USD new.  Hard not to buy a game for under $10.

It's published by those assholes Gamecock (the ones that interrupted the acceptance of a GOTY award with a publicity stunt). It was developed (more notably) by Wideload Games who created Stubbs the Zombie using the original Halo engine. Wideload was created by Alex Seropian, one of the key developers of Halo.

I thought that with HDTVs these days it was standard 720p or 1080i/p?

You playing on an SDTV? In europe we've had dual PAL/NTSCs for years.

LOL

We needed it as so much content was NTSC. That said our leap to 720p HD wasn't as big as our PAL TVs already uses 576 lines bitches.

Damn NTSC gamers and their 480 pee wee dick lines.

I have an old Samsung 1080i HDTV from US. It doesn;t have the ability to go PAL like modern screens.
