I saw this picture of the first design of the US dollar. It hasn't really changed that much:

Now I'm in Australia, I really don't ever seen money, I do everything with a card. In fact when I do see money it's like "Heh, look Australian money" it is as if I am in the states still and saw some foreign money.

This is the one I see the most when I do see money. It's plastic, like I'm sure most countries notes are these days. All the notes have a see-through window in them (the white part below).

I prefered it when the 20 looked like this:

I have no idea who the fuck any of the people are on our money.  Gimmee some dead presidents.

I knew who this guy was (Henry Lawson), but who the fuck is this?:

So what's money like in your country (wikipedia is a good source for images)?

"I have no idea who the fuck any of the people are on our money."

That would because Australia likes to believe it doesn't have a history. It helps with getting rid of societal guilt. Unfortunately it also helps with getting rid of culture.

Canadian bills have all gotten shiney over the past decade

New bill
Current $20 bill

Old bill
Old $20 bill

Historically our money is covered in a mix of the queen and random animals.

The 20 pesos is the toll bill for entering the queue for the fridge.
