That Wonderboy game is a constantly scrolling horizontal shooter with minor platforming. It's very different from the adventure-styled Wonderboy games.

So what about that Master System Wonderboy game, I guess the first one, is it worth playing, I already played the sequels which I assume would be better.

The original Wonderboy SMS game is basically the same game as Adventure Island on NES. It doesn't have any adventure/RPG elements, and is just a straight platformer. It's a decent game, though.

I hope they release Monster World IV on VC someday. It plays identically to Wonderboy in Monster World on Sega Genesis, but stars a girl named Arsha. It was never released outside Japan, though. I played it a while back on an emulator; a fan converted all of the Japanese text into English.

If you are referring to Wonder Boy in Monster Land, it has very light RPG elements. It's more of a platformer with a sword.
I LOVED it back in the day, but the sequels are a lot better. Save it for a rainy afternoon; that's what it would be perfect for now.

The iPhone version was shit.

I have Wonderboy in Monster Land and love it. I have that and Dragon Curse. Its the others I am asking about, they dont seem to be the same type of games.
