That's about 2.5 metres from the TV, that's not so bad.

TV size?

I recountered here, or on the podcast, I once let a co-worker housesit for me when I was in California and he actually took a week off so he could do nothing but play old games he always wanted to try like Snatcher and Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Class act, he even re-stocked the fridge.

On the opposite side, I once had a house guest OVERWRITE SAVES, DRINK MOST OF MY BEER and OPEN GAMES THAT HAD BEEN SEALED.  The fucking loser and his chica actually extended their holiday so they could spend an extra week and a half at my house WHILE I WORKED!

Aspro, you had asked about how people have their sound systems set up a few weeks back. This cat right here sets his up a bit different, which is a bit easier than the way myself and many others do it, but also better in some ways.

That's why I had a guest room. I was more worried about what they did in my jacuzi.

I dunno that seemed pretty complicated. Going through a sound board?

I wish I had a friend local who could just go shooping with me where I could say, Okay, budget is $1500, what's the best thing we can get for that value?

I wish I had a €1500 budget.  I could make do even without a knowledgeable friend.  Sad

You can get a pretty great receiver for like $400 these days. Then get some good speakers & you're good.

If you're replying to me: one day, when I have a game room of my own, I'll get all my consoles pluged in and I'll go shopping for a receiver and a surround sound system to play everything through.  Alas, such a day is probably still 20 years off, when the kid moves out and we get some spare rooms.  Part of the master plan is also being wealthy enough by then to actually spend more money than I should on such luxuries.
