I share my computer with my wife. she barely uses it, yet my desktop is cluttered with all sorts of images and folders filled with images. She doesn't believe in Explorer. Other than that there are a lot of junk files there that I pdf'ed to the desktop to mail to clients for work and forgot to delete. As for my wallpaper, I don't like 'personalizing' my hardware, so I just have a stock win 8.1 image:
I have the same image on my Surface Pro2, and the lines are part of my touch password. I enjoy having the same background on all my devices. I'd have it on my winphone too, if I didn't feel it'd mess with the Metro UI.
edit: also just saw your 'recycle bin Island', which reminded me about an article I read a week or 2 ago talking about how Australia deports it's illegal immigrants to islands far off shore. Not to go into politics, or ethics, for that matter, but it made me chuckle.

That's actually true. Aaronmullan doesn't complete his lines properly, so using the paint bucket tool in Gimp was a nightmare...not even taking into account the texture of the paper.

Yeah it is Zatanna and Black Canary.
The Green Lantern is Jessica Cruz from the DC Rebirth book Green Lanterns. She was Power Ring before she became a Green Lantern.
Before she became Power Ring she didn't leave her apartment for three years because she was on a hunting trip with her friends. They witnessed something which resulted in her friends getting murdered in front of her. She ran away, the reason she didn't leave her apartment was because she was afraid the people that murdered her friends would find her.
The Ring of Volthoom forced her to become Power Ring because it needed a host and was drawn to her fear. The Justice League helped her use that ring for good. She almost sacrificed herself to save the Flash and the Ring of Volthoom was removed and she got a Green Lantern ring in its place.

Yeah time for a forum golden oldie. Here is mine (whips it out):
As you can see I use the 1000 AD Chrono Trigger map to orgnise my applications and documents. Clockwise starting from the top left island, this is where I keep all my utility aps and windows shortcuts. Moving to the right are games I am currently playing or want to play. The island in the upper right are games I wish to spend time on in the medium-long term.
The island to the south-east are games I wish to play in the long term or are games that can be played for short periods at any time.
Finally, docs island.
