Once again it's convention time for me. Real good time. More of a laid back event than the typical shows, but this was still a lot of fun. In fact, this was the first time I've done any new costumes in well over a year. Unfortunately I don't have too many good pictures of those, but I'll be posting a second round of photos later this evening as my wife uploads hers. Anyway, here we are:

Before you die, you see the lights from the jacuzzi.

The mighty Predator conquors the tentacle monster... since no one is making good Predator games he's got to find something to do.

Chucky and the Bride of Chucky. She was really good, but his costume was amazing. You'd never guess he's actually a 6'5" Chinese guy.

This is Salad Fingers. And if you don't know who Salad Fingers is... well just look it up. I don't have the kind of time you'd need to explain it.

And here I am unlocking my inner-90's goth as The Crow. Not a great shot, but I'm in the bathroom avenging those who do evil.... in bathrooms.

This one goes out to Vader.

Dammit kids you have to learn to share your dolls!!

I don't know if she was supposed to be scary, but she's just cute.

Just the Creature from the Black Lagoon wearing a kilt and playing the bagpipes.  Nothing to see here.

This was my True Detective costume. Not a great picture and no one really got it anyway. Pretty sure they just thought I was white trash.

Sam from Trick or Treat. A great movie if you haven't seen it and a really well done costume.

And here's a scary monster going fishing.

Sure... I only heard that a hundred times this weekend.  Except from a woman who was actually arguing with me that I was wrong about not being Sting...

And glad you guys like the Rust costume.  That wasn't a great picture,  so once I find a better one I'll show it off.

"Pretty sure they just thought I was white trash."

An easy mistake to make. Nyaa

Nice to see a Salad Fingers out and about.

You have been saying this for how long now? You have no excuse man. The state of Florida has on average two per week. I'd tell you to go to SuperCon in Miami this year, but their line-up of guests is pretty awful, so I don't think it'll be worth admission. Then again you could meet the guy who does Mario's voice so.... that's something

Oh and this is why I love you guys. Already three of you "got" Rust Cohle. I think that's as many as I got in a convention with a thousand or so people. Fucking casuals man... time for them to start denying their programming.

Okay time for round two:

GWAR showed up ready to party.

The Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Not typical horror, but I know a lot of older people who got the shit scared out of them by this guy.

Sting and the Hulkster. At this point of the day I'd been called Sting plenty of times, but I was happy to play along this time.

Frankenweenie!!

I don't remember what movie this was from. Either The Purge or The Strangers maybe? Either way kids wearing masks like this kind of creeps me out.

I'm not sure if these guys are all BioShock (well I know the mermaid isn't), but the costumes were freaking awesome.

This chick is pretty hot. It's amazing all the work she has to go through to get this scary looking.

And if you can name all the slashers and costumed icons in this picture, you win a piece of candy.

Okay that's all I got. Normally there'd be more, but we had to leave early Sunday morning, so we basically missed an entire day.
