I'll probably see it on Christmas day.
It's the only canon Star Wars film I haven't looked forward to.
So hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise when/if I see it.

I also wasn't looking forward to it. I guess the trailers didn't look good.
The same thing happened with the Force Awakens where I wasn't excited to see it because the trailers looked boring.
It wasn't until the final trailer for the Force Awakens that I got hyped. With Last Jedi it hasn't happened even with the final trailer and the TV spots.
I will probably like it I liked Force Awakens and Rogue One.
I'm not really that big of a Star Wars fan sure I liked the movies and stuff but it doesn't matter if I watch it.

I agree with this sentiment. I'm still going to see the new one come Sunday though, even if it's just more of an excuse to meet up wtih a good friend.

I'm going in blind Sunday. I haven't seen a single trailer. That gif in the original post is the first thing I've seen. When did What's-her-name-again become a lizard? Just look at her hand when she puts it on that rock.

I’m very hyped for this movie myself but will be going to see it a little bit later with some family that are stopping by for the holidays.

Well, I loved the movie. Great acting performances by Mark Hamill and Adam Driver. Though I loved it, I’m sure it will be a very divisive movie, especially with Star Wars die hards. It certainly different from any other episode.

I can’t believe Rian Johnson killed off two major characters. He pretty much thumbed his nose at Snoke being Palpatine 2.0. My jaw dropped.
Watching it myself in 2 days! 
I watched it again the second time with the kids. I think I really enjoyed it more the second time with different expectations. The middle part didn’t drag and the little things that may have irked me before did not this time. Leo, have you seen it?
Saw it a second time and I think I liked it less. The movie dragged even more and some stuff bothered me more. So basically the opposite of travo.
You’re Bizarro Vader this year. You don’t really care for Zelda, Mario and now Star Wars?
After we went to see it the second time, my wife, who listens to a ton of audiobooks, commented that it was Mark Hamill’s voice acting that really sold the character. She had no clue that he’s one of the best voice actors. Lol
This Thursday evening, the wait is over! The Last Jedi will hit theaters, the most eagerly anticipated Star Wars film since the last. I know a couple of us will be there opening night. What about the rest of you? I’m trying to keep my expectations uncheck, but let’s be honest, I’m seriously hyped for this.
