This is a new series of threads I thought might be fun but it will rely on participation.

The idea is to show your best, or favourite item you own in various categories and through it, we can get a better picture (pun) about what makes you happy.

So this is my favourite, it's a Peking Opera Lady recreated in 3D by papercraft. Whoever made it used individual boxes and cut and lay them out to make this.

It's actually my mothers, but I picked it out for her.

It's a crazy Chinese stage show where they dress up in white ghost faces and re-enact sometimes tragic or funny scenes while occasionally banging a symbol.

yeah, we actually did a Chinese study and had a lesson on it.  The students colored their own masks.

I'll have to think upon that, but I do know one of my favorite video game inspired pictures.

I've never quite understood the connection I have with the Earthbound series. I didn't like it when it first came out on the SNES, but several times I'd go back to it for some reason and eventually something clicked and I now love it. Eathbound Beginnings hit me with a really odd wave of nostalgia when I finally played it, despite not touching it until just a few years ago. And Mother 3...well that was always an amazing game from the first time I found the translated copy. Oh well, I'm babbling. At any rate, I've always loved this image.

I don't like wall decoration. We don't have any, save for obligatory stuff of family or pets. Oh, and we used to have 3 square 'pots' to hang plants from the wall. Wall gardens are cool.

I like both images posted so far. I wonder if there's any specific reason for the languages used or if it was just whatever was on hand. I've been looking at some Russian art recently, so here's "Girl with Peaches" by Valentin Serov:

Nice pictures, bros.

Try and post actual photos of your actual stuff though too.

If you have any suggestions for next weeks theme, shout them out.

Image result for zelda majora's mask puzzle

I got this puzzle from Nintendi a few years back and spent a lazy sunday putting it together. Lamenated it, and framed it, and now it sits on the wall in my game room next to the TV.

I haven't put together a jigsaw puzzle since I was a kid. I used to enjoy them greatly, then video games came along...

Posting things I have physical copies of makes things quite a bit harder (and I'm not at my regular house right now), but I do have something here:

I had to wrestle Photobucket to upload this.

A world map from 1794, not long after New Zealand and Australia were properly(-ish) mapped. Here's what I assume is a variant.

I'm too lazy to go upstairs to show off my nice pictures but we did hang up a Jeff Goldblum shower curtain in our bedroom and used it as a window curtain. Does that count?

I'm split between seeing abstract Boobs or a giant pair of glasses.

That nails it. You are insane.

P.S my dad looks like Jeff Goldblum.
