Oh yeah, watched this double Darkwing Duck episode: Just us Justice Ducks.

Actually really good, like I said before DD has a high duff to great ratio, this is great.

Mega duck, Darkwing's evil twin bands together 4 other criminals. They section off the city with an energy shield and Darkwing has to fight his ego to team up with 4 other heroes.

Also, Duck Tales really picked up and Chip N Dale continues its great streak. Definetely buying subsequent volumes of these two series.

It's not. Some episodes are good but like I said before there are a lot of duff episodes compared to consistently entertaining shows like Chip N Dale. Duck Tales starts off meh, but begins to get consistently entertaining too.

Honestly if you want to buy the two greatest shows on DVD, get Defenders of the Earth first. You can get the whole series for $24 I think on amazon, in two volumes, which is like 10 doubles sided dvds.

Next up order the complete generation one Transformers boxset, it should set you back about.... $50 US. Might be cheaper? 14 discs of awesome.

After that the choices get difficult.

I really should try watching it youtube. It's just that the Transformers shows i've seen have been absolutely horrible, but they would have been latter ones. I actually liked Beast wars too.

Hey for the price of a mic I bought the complete first season of the Real Ghostbusters. A 2 dvd set that is over 4 hours worth of classic cartoons. The value equation isn't there.

Vader should get on the podcast and use a shared mic (not a headset) put it next to his TV and I can talk through wii speak to you Nyaa

So I'm running out of stuff to watch.

Sadly Disney is screwing everyone over by only releasing a small portion of the Gummi Bears and nothing else.

And Gargoyles is another casualty. They have only released about a third of availible episodes and have no plans to release the rest. What a shame. If you've never seen it then do yourself a favour and watch the first few episodes on youtube called the Awakening.

Also in the US the Real Ghostbusters was launched as a complete 24 disc set. Over here we get the gimped 2-Disc start of season 1. If it doesn't sell well you can kiss goodbye to ever getting to see more and even if it does happen it will likely be years before the whole thing is availible.

So all I have is a couple of Darkwing Ducks and japanese transformers which is a slog to get through.

I'm thinking that Prince Valiant, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and the Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers are next.

Good riddance. The sooner these awful cartoons disappear of the face of the planet, the better.

Does anyone know a reliable South African website to order from?

It seems to be the only country which sells the complete series of the Gummi Bears.

I ordered the complete Prince Valiant, 10 discs, really cheap. And Galaxy Rangers volume 1 which is a 4 disc set.

Seems that the fans have posted all the remaining episodes of Gargoyles on youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgf2I7Lc4Hg

The DVDs ended on season 2 episode 26.

This starts off just after that. Using the numbering system you can find the rest of the episodes.

A quick search shows that someone has uploaded all the episodes for download.

If you want to continue from where the DVDs left off go from 2x26 as in season 2 episode 26.

The files are hundreds of mbs long so youtube is much better IMO.

So I forgot to give the real Ghostbusters impressions.

It starts off really formulaic and I was worried it would end up like TMNT which hasn't held up so well. It basically started to settle into this formula where a big ghost would appear and they would put him to bed by the end of the show. But suprisingly the stories pick up and there is a lot variety to it. Last night I saw an episode where they went back in time and accidently trapped the ghosts from the Christmas Carol.

And they showed how slimer came to be a team member as well as doing a 4th wall breaking how the movie was made by the "real" ghostbusters of the cartoon series.

Looking forward to more of this.

I got the complete series of the Legend of Prince Valiant on dvd.

Got to say the vocal talent is extraordinary, probably better than Batman the animated series. It's like a massive cartoon all stars get together.

It has Peter Reneday aka Splinter from turtles/Mandrake from Defenders of the Earth.

Princess Cala from Gummi Bears

Robby Benson from Beauty and the Beast

Efram Zimbalist aka Alfred from Batman the animated series

Merlin is voiced by Man at Arms from He Man

One of the knights of the round table is from that Will Smith sitcom, Prince of Bel Air.

Tim Curry from numerous movies.

John Rhys Davies guest stars.

There are more but I cant remember them right now.
