Ok like 20 hours in game report... this is magical and still part of me wants to yell at Aunoma. So first off yeah this is much better than BOTW, there is way more interesting creative content all over the place. I did the wind dungeon and everything leading up to it, it was amazing! Now the dungeon still doesn't match past dungeons but it's a nice improvement. Still the whole lead up and themed dungeon and that BOSS!!! It's what I want from this game, and I get upset when most of the game isn't.
Still mechanically this is some voodoo alien magic, how can you do the things you do in this game. Every hour or so I see something that's makes my mind explode, "I can make that?!". They managed to make the repetitive aspects of the world feel better simply cause you can do things 1000 different ways. One enemy camp had prison cages, so I picked up the cages and dropped them over some enemies, I then made a fire, and dragged the cage over the fire and cooked them alive.
More than half the things I create blows up in my face in hilarious ways. Not only is this a Zelda game it's a Wile E. Coyote simulator. One example I made a hot air balloon with a wood paneling. I put fans so I could push it to the sides and I added a flame emmiter to make the balloon go up. Well the fan fought the fire from the flame emmiter, lit the wood base on fire and now I was in a flying flaming balloon of death.
This game is straight up insane. I am in awe. And STILL I have moments where I want it to be less grand and more focused. I love my levels, more than just running around. We are getting to my perfect game, TOTK is a step in the right direction.
Lol. I did the same with my balloon. I couldn't jump on it in time then caught it going down like the Hiddenberg disaster.
That Wind Temple boss was sooo good, so satisfying. It was far better than the Ganons from Breath of the Wild.

Finally got all the towers on the surface. So much exploring. Still haven’t done a main dungeon yet. 
So I just read you can fuse a two handed sword to a one handed sword and wield it with only one hand. I made it to the Deku tree but couldn't beat that boss...yet
Turned it on for a quick look and ended up playing 2 hours. Still playing now.
Can confirm that Mclassic works well with this for a crispy image quality on a 4ktv.
Not sure how I feel about the building aspect. I'm already getting a bit fatigued. Need to find that quick build item/option.
Also why was link stripped nekkid after he lost his arm. Is this a perverted ghost?
That master sword quest was so good, fantastic ending.
Have done two temples now. The Fire Temple was first and the Water Temple second. Pretty good stuff. Should check out that Master Sword quest next.

I appreciate it's possible, but I also appreciate Nintendo grafted an actual story and dungeons on top of all these physics and building gameplay.

There's so much to the base game that it's difficult for me to foyon crafting crazy stuff. Maybe this weekend I will set aside some time to do so.

Just using Mclassic here, great results, makes everything sharp on a 4ktv. Actually works better with this and Xenoblade 3 over any other game IMO.
So I was initially enamoured with the game. Then I got so bogged down doing the first 4 shrines it kinda pissed me off. It reminds me of BOTW, where the first area was like a long training ground.
I got lost as I couldn't see a small strip of rock behind a waterfall to climb up an otherwise ice covered island.
So I went down, hoping to go around and find another route. Didn't work, I built multiple vehicles, most of which didn't work.
I made rafts and when I went to hit them to activate the fans, the raft was destroyed. Turns out if you hit the tree stump with an axe it will turn into wood.
None of my flying vehicles worked. Tiny physics affect the movement of your creations, so you may spend ages making a raft, only to find that the fractional difference between where you placed your fan, spins your craft in a different direction.
Now I can't even find the 4th shrine. I head to the glowing dot and there's nothing there. I went underground in the mine to see if it's there, it's not.
I can't rewind this platform to go higher, if its even possible. I don't even know where this shrine is.
How did everyone else find it? Seems a little ridiculous, need some kind of hint.
BTW haven't read a lot, can anyone explain the whole chargers, crystallised chargers etc?

In the Cave of Awakening there are some large turning gear like structures where you use the Rewind power to have them turn the other way so you can hop across them but first you need to use Ascend to get up on platform that is high enough to let you hop across them.
There is a character who will convert crystallized chargers to permanently expand your battery pack. Similar concept to how you convert those balls of light you get from Shrines to expand your life and magic bars. You need to first collect the ore from breaking the black rock structures in the Depths and defeating certain enemies. You trade that ore in with those certain characters to get chargers and crystallized chargers. The regular chargers you can use them to either replenish your battery or overcharge it so you have a bunch of temporary battery charge to use. Temporary power is displayed in yellow and will be gone once used. You can also use regular chargers to put in dispenser machines that give you Zonai items that you can carry around in your inventory. Stuff like fans, mine carts, etc. I mostly use the regular chargers to get stuff from dispensaries.

I thought the battery when you use zonai items, it seems to recharge when you stop using it?
So are these chargers like when you eat a stamina dish and it gives you extra stamina?
So if I was on a flying machine running out of battery I can use a charger for extended flight time?
I used the gears in the Awakening cave but it was a dead end. So I flunked it somehow using the remanents of platforms and pullers in the corner to just ascend all the way up.
I'm really impressed with the ascend ability, if only because it's the kind of thing that should cause game breaking bugs.

As this is a sequel part of me wishes I could start fully loaded with all my hearts and badass equipment from BOTW.
And the game could compensate by making combat tougher.
I was dispatching Lynels for breakfast before. Now I'm fighting with a stick fused with a boulder.
What a day. Every time I have a goal in mind, I never meet it. I just made it to the Wind Temple and was planning to finish it. I never even made it inside. Instead, i joined the local gazette, accidentally found the auto build power as well as one kick ass mini boss.
