Why would I watch adult shows as a kid in the 80s?

OMFG!

A-Team was a show for everyone and kids loved it the most. It was an action adventure show where people shot bullets at someone from 4 feet away and no one ever got hurt. It was like Knight Rider.

Well, okay there was one episode where Face got shot, but it was a rarity.

Ummm..... there is a Japanese remake of Ghost being made.

Sounds weird but Hollywood remade Infernal Affairs as The Departed.

You know what I realised over the weekend? I pulled out 20 year old comics I used to read of Aliens and Predator that were made in 1989. I saw the films before reading them. I saw Aliens, Robocop, Predator and the Nightmare on Elm Street films aged under 10. We had this teenage babysitter who used to bring these movies over for us to watch while the parents were out.

I owe a good deal of film memories to him.

Still a positive score!

Harrison still wants to do the next one, he just wants Indy to die in the movie. I say no. Heroes like that should not die in movies, they should ride off into the sunset. Lucas says no and Lucas usually gets what he wants, sorry Ford.

Christian Bale Will be One of Zhang Yimou’s Nanjing Heroes

Not content to just rule over Gotham City and lose ridiculous amounts of weight for his movies, Christian Bale will now put on the Church colors and save some Chinese people from those wacky Imperialist Japanese army. Bale is set to make his Chinese film debut in “Nanjing Heroes” for “Hero” director Zhang Yimou, in yet another re-telling of the Nanjing Massacre. The movie will be set in 1937 and star Bale as an American priest in Nanjing, China name John who helps hundreds of Chinese civilians escape a brutal massacre in the city by the invading Japanese troops during World War II.

Says Zhang about casting Bale:

I met Christian in America and was impressed with his serious book research for the role.

The film will apparently feature plenty of hefty CGI and special effects, not to mention war on an epic scale, given that the film is boasting a mammoth $90 million budget. (Your average Hollywood movie budget, but a major anomaly by Chinese film industry standards.)

40% of the film will be shot in English and the rest in Mandarin Chinese. Which means if Bale goes on one of his patent on-set tirades, the cast/crew won’t be able to understand most of it. And I think we can all agree, that’s a good thing.

MAJOR Batman news!

Today it was announced that Tom Hardy will be playing Bane and Anne Hathaway is Catwoman. I like the Hugo Strange rumor, wonder how they will do Bane. i hear he is a smart character, I dont know much about him except he uses that device to get huge, which is something they probably will not do in the movie. Anne as Catwoman, interesting. I trust in Nolan.

Meanwhile they continue to butcher my poor X-Men. Make it stop!

Left to right, we see: Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.

Hey remember the First X-Men, yeah the group with Emma Frost, and Cyclop's YOUNGER brother Havok and Mystique... of course not!! WTF IS THAT! Who the fuck is Azazel? Why is there a chick named Angel and not real Angel.

WHY!

The beard isn't very good, but I think the long hair suits him.

Manson is a good look actually, and Bale is insane enough to pull it off. Nyaa
