^Hey, that's fair man. Just letting you know what it looks like from out here.  But then, you've probably heard it all before.

Really it comes down to taste. Some people loved golden goal and silver goal, but personally I like it as it is now.

Or in some cases lack of taste

If you wish to return stones in my direction my favorite sports are, in order, MLB, AFL, NBA and NHL.  And yes, I was rooting for the Dutch ('cause as I've learned on this site, if it ain't Dutch, it ain't much).

That only applies to kickboxing. You need to watch the K1 final elimination this December, then you will see some kicking that will make van Bommel and de Jong proud.

What a fucking crappy final. The Dutchies did everything in their power to turn football in K1. Heck, in the end, I think pretty much all the Dutch players had a yellow card LOL

Seriously the reason the referee was giving all these yellows is, because if he did not, people would have broken something. The Dutch should be ashamed of themselves, they put other players in danger and totally killed any excitement in this match.

Spain did not play well, but that happens if your legs are chopped apart Peter Aerts style. (if you don't know Aerts, go educate yourself). And Spain really needs to play the ball around faster, sometimes they take it way too slow, allowing the Dutch to return and defend.

Even in this crappy match, Spain had more ball possession, more chances, better play and more everything. The only thing the Dutch were leading in was: yellow cards and assassination attempts. Glad the international media, took a piss on the Dutch. They deserved it.

Oh and Forlan got the golden ball!

Boo, Paul the Octopus is robbed, robbed I tell you!

It's crazy hearing all the backlash at Webb. LOL Really the only big thing he got wrong was not sending of De Jong for trying to break Xabi Alonso's ribs.

It's over? No more soccer? Well it was ok, it gives us something to watch during a usual boring time in sports.

See you in another 4 years soccer. *waves*

Euro championships are in 2 years.

That final was lame. That ref carded 14 people yet failed to card the karate kick to the chest? Which incidentely was the best part of that game.

I felt sorry for the Dutch as I usually back the underdog, but Spain totally outplayed them IMO. They had tons of chances.

And not sending away Bommel after he torpedoed Inesta from behind. The Dutch have no right to complain, the ref was on their side
