You can't say that and not show the rocks.
Dvader said:Played a little more and got to the first few classic uncharted encounters, the areas are larger and offer so many paths and ways to stay hidden. In one area I hung back and marked all enemies (yeah there is marking) and I snuck around trying to pick off guys stealthily but it's not easy. I would get caught and guys would come at me from all directions. One of the coolest parts of this is how your companion aids you during battle, it's a lot like TLOU. A lot of times I was in trouble and boom I get rescued in a cool way.
I cleaned up the area once and explored a bit and found a rifle with a scope at the edge of the map, I wanted to mess with that so I started the encounter again. No silenced weapons yet so once you shoot all hell breaks loose. I had a few wonky animations happens when I tried to stealth kill guy from above that was walking around a corner and I sort of locked on to him and warped around the corner. It still feels very much like uncharted encounters but with TLOU elements thrown in.
They are also some cool things being done with the platforming, they start adding in elements and mixing them together in cool ways.
Let's make this readable.

It got Twlight princessed on IGN, lol!
Played through the E3 section, best setpiece in uncharted history. I cannot believe all the moving parts, the things you can do, so amazing!
Then what comes after, Jesus this is most beautiful game of all time. Nothing comes close. I wish this game was just a picture game, take the best pictures to get a high score.
Puzzles have been great. Platforming is more open with more options. Treasures are very well hidden and now fit better into this kind of structure. Oh and the story is great.
MINOR PACING SPOILERS
That said its all still pretty slow paced. It's a constant mix of elements so you are not doing one thing for long. Which means big breaks between fights at times.
Damn, I need to stop reading these impressions. My hype meter is off the charts.
Ok one question. Do the set pieces work with the story? They're not squeezed in to fit the story like the cruise ship, are they?

Everything fits with story, this games focus is story.
It seems like Uncharted fell into good hands when Amy Henning left. Good news! Why can't Gamestop break street date?
Vader you keep mentioning pictures. Without posting any pictures.

Cause the PS is blocking me from uploading until the game releases.

Seems like a reasonable step to lock you pirate scum down.

Is it blocking you from taking pictures? because that's as simple as take a pic, get a usb flash drive, quick move over to your pc, hit up imgur. The end.
Finally got it uploaded on imagur.
And now I can't get them here on my phone.

That should work.
Not working great for me. Managed to load one picture.
You need to take Edgecrushers lead and send me perverted pictures of virtual babes on Miiverse.
