First on Netflix is Iron Chef legend. The original Japanese version he's one of my favorite shows of all time, but the American versions have never been nearly as good. They never quite realized the secret ingredient to the production of these shows is dignity. In fact, if you want to see the polar opposite of that concept, watch the pilot versions of Iron Chef America with William shatner as the host.
Iron Chef Legend doesn't fix that, however they go in a different direction and really make the chefs more out to be rock stars, and it kind of works because of that.
On a more shameful note, I'm watching True Blood. Vampire softcore porn with the quality of acting to match. It's just awful, but clearly that's sort of the point. My wife was a fan of the show when it originally aired, and somehow we had a conversation that led me to watch the first episode. It's cringe-worthy as hell, but, hey the people are hot, and it's a train wreck that I can't stop watching.

Yeah same here. GameSpot reviewed it and gave it a 9 but honestly after that first episode I just don’t see it.

Yeah, I don't see it getting better. Why do they do this with resident evil? Why do they always have to end up turning into post-apocalyptic stories?
Travo, what did you think of the last epsiode of Saul. It's great to see the old team but I don't know, I miss the show proper. This whole future Gene thing is like a weird epilogue. Still great but I miss the tention of the first 2/3 of the season. I'm sure it will end with a bang though.
I love the change of pace. I see this season as split into three acts. The end of the cartel storyline was the end of act 2. I see Gene as a final act and the last two episodes are setting us up for the inevitable shitstorm. I got plenty of tension during the last few minutes of last Monday's episode, clinching fists and shaking my head at Gene's actions. Its like seeing a family member relapse. We are going down a dark path. I'm thinking that Marion and her new magic machine will figure out who he is. The guy with cancer is going to meet a gruesome end. Ironic, considering Jimmy was best at scamming the elderly and sick.
I get what theyre doing showing the old gang. Saul was warned by Mike, yet can't help but get involved. He has a compulsion to do these scams like it helps put him at ease. That call with Kim put him over the edge and there's no stopping him now.
Yep I got that, he can't help himself. I still wanted more of Jimmy becoming the full on saul instead of the time jump. Maybe a montage or something.

Yeah, definitely. Five minute montage would do. A lot of people want to know more about Gus' past in Chile, but I like the mystery. Now, its time to send Jimmy to prison or death.
Or Predator vs Sith!

Yeah, it was very enjoyable and mych better than the other sequels.
This seems like it's going to be about all the maneuvering for the Targaryen throne amongst different factions of Targaryens. Good solid idea. That's it I'm going to get tired of looking at people with silver hair if they don't start introducing some other people.
The bigger surprise was the spin-off show Shorsey. It's a much more by the books idea for a TV show, but for whatever reason it immediately grabbed me from the first episode on. Looking forward to seeing where that one goes since it's only into its first season.
Have you checked out Only Murders in the Building? Thats a fun Hulu series.

Enjoyed it a lot, felt so good going back. Brutal disgusting episode too, they tried for shock value. I know the story so I know as long as they follow it it's going to be wild. I just hope the characters are interesting, the book was like a history book not a traditional novel so the characters were barely defined. I doubt we will ever have beloved characters like GoT but they need at least some people care about... everyone is a piece of shit in this story lol.
I think they said that there were going to be 5 seasons so next one should be the end of it.
Need to watch these myself. Really enjoyed part one of season four.
