I am interested, but a tiny bit skeptical they may go a little too overboard with the concept and make the initial versions of the games a little too simple for even my tastes. There's only so many times I can play a Galaga/Galaxian type game without wanting to pull my hair out!
Next time they should try to do an 8-bit to 16-bit game series like this! It's a very cool concept. I hope other developers take a cue from this and try this idea out as well!

I keep on forgetting you have a PS3 now.
I have taken pretty much taken everyone off of my friends list at the moment. I have imposed a black-out on online game playing for me until my Street Fighter Fight Pads arrive.
I couldn't play any PS3 game without having a practical strobe effect of messages and online notifications constantly popping up in the corner of my screen...
...combine that with the fact that I ABSOLUTELY suck at Street Fighter with a Dual Shock and had to turn away dozens of fight requests out of sheer embarrassment...
I will go live again around the 11th of this month (when I get my pads), so hand over that PSN Screen Name, Steel!
I'm thinking of getting SFIV next month. I'd also like to get one of those SFIV FightPad controllers too, but I don't like that they aren't wireless.

Well now that I'm into PC shit, I'll be getting a ton of PC games both old and new.
I'll likely end up getting Resident Evil 5 on the PS3, and I'm also waiting to see what the final word is on some Wii games.
