Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileFrans Bauer?
Yeah Uncharted did pretty strong. Nice to see Forza 3 in there but it deserves better. Nice sales for Borderlands although I'm not too surprised since I couldn't find a copy when I went to get one not too long ago. A shame Tekken 6 didn't make the cut though.
Oh and Jack Bauer is awesome.
Maybe you shouldn't click ont he Kotaku links?
He's better than Jack anyway.
Second month in a row that the PS3 is ahead of the 360, by a large margin too. Next moth is the true test of course.
Wii Fit Plus is second, wow. But it will stay there FOREVER. Nice to see Borderlands do so well. When did Forza hit, cause yikes.
Gaf had more numbers, DJ Hero bombed. Demon's Souls sold over 100k. Brutal Legend sold 260k total.
Some new numbers
UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THIEVES (PS3; Oct-09) 537,000
WII FIT PLUS (WII) 441,000
BORDERLANDS (360) 418,000
WII SPORTS RESORT (WII) 314,000
NBA 2K10 (360) 311,000
HALO 3: ODST (360) 271,000
NBA 2K10 (PS3) 213,000
FORZA MOTORSPORT 3 (360) 175,000
KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYS (NDS) 169,000
FIFA SOCCER 10 (360) 156,000
BRUTAL LEGEND (360) 150,000
BORDERLANDS (PS3) 113,000
DEMONS SOULS (PS3) >100k
BRUTAL LEGEND (PS3) 66,000
DJ HERO (360) 62,000
DJ HERO (PS3) 39,000
DJ HERO (WII) 19,000
BORDERLANDS (PC) 15,000
GTA CHINATOWN WARS (PSP) <10k
A BOY AND HIS BLOB (WII) <10k (less than GTA)
DJ HERO (PS2) 3,300
other random data:
TEKKEN 6 (PS3, X360) >175k, <575k (PS3 version sold more)
NBA 2K10 (PS2, PSP, WII, PC) 51k
Woot!
And you don't even watch 24.
NPD, niiiiiiiiiiice for a PS3 exclusive to be no 1.
Wii is back? Is that a good thing? Looks like 360 may be last for a while till Natal hits?
So is Chinatown wars officially a bomb on PSP and DS now?
I played more Fallout 3 last night, its getting better. Its just like Oblivion but yeah like others have said I prefer the swords and sorcerers, lush green forests and riding horses and fighting trolls. Fallout 3 is ugly, which is the point I guess but I would have preferred the game to be set maybe a thousand years after worldwide nuclear meltdown so that the natural world had started to reclaim the earth.
Oh gawd....
“At Resident Evil 5’s launch, it was announced that a Wii version was not technically possible. But after some of the work that Cavia has done (with RE: Darkside Chronicles), the producers of Resident Evil 5 over in Japan now think it is possible. Some of the light effects in the South America stage are pretty incredible. Whether it is going to come, I don’t know the answer to that question. But, it has been said that now at least it is possible.” - Product manager Matt Dahlgren

Did some updates.
Nintendo Power info/reviews:
Overall, a fairly good issue, with 4 page features on Spirit Tracks and Monster Hunter.
The issue also contains an interview with George Kamitani of Vanillaware, although I've read too many of these lately to bother with NP's interview, which are typically insipid.
There's also a baffling retrospective on the DS of all systems_ must be running short on material.
Mr. Phil T. contributes a delightful look back at Golgo 13 for NES.
Now on to the stuff you care about:

NEWS (i haven't been following that closely so i don't know how new this really is):
Spirit Tracks
-Link must dodge evil trains as he travels between map locations on the tracks, sounds like an old arcade game
-do not have to replay any section on the hub dungeon, although you can to find secrets
-apparently Link only escorts Zelda in the hub dungeon
-elsewhere Zelda plays the Navi role
Pokemon Rumble
-Recommended by reviewer
-1500 points
-a demo will be available
-available Nov. 16th
-exclusive Nintendo Power Pokemon Venusaur, code is 1589-3955
There's a cliched little retrospective on TG-16. This probably means nothing, but, I found it interesting that there is a screenshot for Rondo of Blood. Every other game screencapped has been released on VC.
-tetrisgrammaton
Can someone who has played COD4 with dual analog answer this? How you cope with the more hectic levels? Do you use the auto lock on feature a lot?
Have you ever tried beating the game without it? Do you think that you could beat the game without it?
I've been saying this was going to happen the entire time. At least on the DS it moved 200K copies in its first month. Its clear that people just didn't like the overhead style of the game. Pity. But I'll be real interested to see how it spins now. When Chinatown Wars only sold 200K critics were all quick to blame the DS' lack of a mature audience. So what's the spin now with the PSP?
Very sad to see A Boy and His Blob sell so poorly. I honestly thought it would break 25K. Still it's not a surprise. You can't sell on a game on the Wii and not market it and still expect it to sell. After spending a couple hours with it, I can tell you that if they just did some simple marketing to let people know the game exists it would have done okay. I never saw so much as a cut-out or poster for it at Gamespot. This game could have had a wide audience - younger kids who would like the art style to adults who played the original and wanted to try the remake.
I'm playing Pimp Hero at the moment. Its good.
RE with an 8, sweet. SH with an 8 too, the problem is I expected more from this. 8 is a great score but some of those review points I don't like.
