Robio I salute your greatness.
Oh CRAP!
I just realised, if this name is true we are in for years of puns in articles. YEARS!
When I played Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on something like this and it didn't think it felt right at all. The game only requires 2 or 3 buttons so this was kind of overkill. Then again if I actually had some instructions on what the moves were maybe it would have worked out better for me.
AND I WAS THE FIRST TO MAKE IT!!! I RULE!!!! Actually to be fair, the cartoon is spelled Jem with a 'j' so it might not really count.
I was thinking more of lines in articles and reviews saying: The controls are a shining gem, or an unpolished gem. Or a cheap imitation gem. That kind of BS.
Yes, but in my defence I was busy getting my arse handed on a platter by the final boss in LKS. When I saw the name, the first thing that popped in my mind was Jem.
I think Nintendo still holds a trademark on that name since it was what the Wiimote was originally going to be called. . . the Tinkle Wand for the Wii. . . that actually works pretty well doesn't it?
That's Art Style INTERSECT, and you haven't heard about it because there have been too many Art Style games and nobody cares anymore.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThey're all really good though. I haven't played an Art Style game that I haven't enjoyed. But I will agree they've sort of flooded the market with their name and it's hard to keep track of what's what. They really should have spaced out their games more like the BIT.TRIP games.

++Update: Sony's new PlayStation motion control device will not apparently be called 'Gem' now as was widely reported this morning. The confusion arose after EA head honcho John Riccitiello apparently inadvertently appeared to spill the beans at the UBS 37th Annual Global Media Conference yesterday.
Riccitiello said: "In the coming year, both Sony and Microsoft have announced new controllers. Motion sensor controls, Natal and Gem, these are likely to bring new consumers into the marketplace," as reported on Softpedia.
Sony have finally broken cover with SCEA Director of Communications, Patrick Seybold now going on record on Kotaku to say Gem was "an early code name for the product," We haven't announced final name at this point."
Day-Two?
