If it's as good as Zero, I'll die happy, since Zero is my favorite Metroid!
Since that would mean Other M will become my new favorite!
But I doubt that'll happen. I'm just hoping for a good Metroid game. It doesn't have to surpass Zero nor does it have to be like Prime, I just want it to live up to the Metroid legacy, that's all I ask for.

Oh shoot, someone actually posted that. I actually saw the story earlier and thought, eh.
You know, I think the only metroid game I haven't played is the gameboy one.
Other than stuff like metroid pinball that is.
It's good to hear that Crystal Dynamics added a solo-play mode where you get to be alone with Lara...um...you know what I mean!
But of course, co-op is more fun.
A good way to end the Summer of Arcade!

I remember that one. Metroid II was pretty tough. Of course I played it when I was a kid.
But I do remember getting lost up to a certain point. And I just couldn't do anything and didn't know how to progress in the game. It was when I got the sticky morph ball where I can climb up walls and ceilings.
Didn't know where to go from there. So I just gave up.
And I LOVE the pinball game!

Played all metroid games and finished them all. Even the crappy original.
Pinball does not count though!
I like the European version better with the pencil sketches in the back. Looks more artsy.

I just watched IGN's Video Review for it, and it looks like it'll be a fun game.
It also makes me wish Blizzard would release Diablo 3 on 360, but they won't.
Metroid Pinball is my favorite Metroid game.

My internets are somewhat fucked up still. Tech guy came, but Internet access is partly blocked because I refused to pay those assholes because I went for a week without service. Funny thing is, I can't access the Internet from my desktop or netbook, but have no problems browsing via the PS3. I'll have to make some time to show up and pay the bill today.
In the meantime, I played some more VC, which keeps getting better and better with each chapter, I'm about to start Ch. 15, Citadel Ghirlandaio, but first I have a few skirmishes to try out in the new map, and check out three side missions or so.
This game is so good and yet it keeps on giving. I'm on the 35 hr mark, if the game ended right now, I would be happy because of the amazing ride. With a few more hours still to go, I'm literally ecstatic at the things to come.

I'm the same as GG, no Metroid 2, all others I finished. Metroid 1 is not crappy, it was groundbreaking. Metroid Hunters now that was crappy.
