Yeah, Infinity Gene is bloody awesome. I'm most impressed that it was tweaked enough to feel not at all like an iPhone game and is such a natural fit on a console.
The surprise to me was that it's in devs hands. Eurogamer had their story last month from three un-named developement sources that said they had seen the PSP2. (That was the story that said it had the same footprint as a PSP3000, touch controls and flash memory (not disc) based games.
I can see no way that the PSP2 will support UMDs for the purpose of backward compatibility. BC is dead, except from Ninty thank god.
Yeah me too.
Yeah, UMDs are dead. As for b/c, I'm just hoping Sony puts b/c with PSN PSP games.
And even though the 3DS will have b/c (like you said, thank God) I'm keeping my DSi. I traded some of my handhelds in the past and I regret it. I won't make that mistake again.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
That's pretty cool. It's different than I thought.
I didn't think they could do anything more to the Space Invaders Extreme formula but I guess I was wrong. Looks cool in 3D with that style.

I wish there was an easier way to get my music from my Mac to my PS3; I'd LOVE to try out ALL my songs to see how they affect the game!
This NIS RPG looks great!
"ClaDun: This is An RPG!"

I saw this game at a friends house, I was blown away. What you just described blows me away as well. Instant download whenever I get a working PS3.
I have finally played Vanquish. Just thinking of it sends my heart a flutter. It's a demo I did not want to put down, every time I played it I wanted to try a new strategy. I wanted to get better and faster at it. It's so AWESOME!
The first time i played it I was terrible. I had no clue what I was doing, the controls were different, I never played a game quite like it. But once you get it, once it all clicks it's magical. I could now boost like a pro. I enter slow motion at the right moments and can execute head shots at will. The boss fight which took me like 20 minutes the first time I fought it (its a TRANSFORMER, its crazy!!) now only takes about 3 minutes. The action is so exhilarating that it will be hard to go back to the slow cover third person shooters I am so used to. I know its a shooter but its an action game at heart, I think it might be more appropriate it to compare it to something like Bayonetta rather than Gears.
I was sold just on the creator and the idea. To play it just shows me how amazing this game could potentially be. I don't see a RE4 level masterpiece but I think it is a major contender for action game of the year.
+1 to the excitement regarding the new space invaders. i really love SIE and this looks like it pushes further in that direction.
Speaking of PSN, when is Limbo being released on there? I bought some network cards this summer which I'm saving for a few select games as I can't otherwise by anything from psn here

Space Invaders II definitely looks interesting.
Thanks for the heads up, I've added it to my watch list.
Binge gamed SMG2 today. Went from 38 stars to 58 stars...
I feel like a bloated Luma full of star bits.
...
I just did a google image search for Luma... I got a pleasant surprise...
You might want to skip over the "bloated" key word.
And Darkside Chronicles.
P.S I'm stuck on the metroid boss.
I decided to go for a bunch of songs that had pretty quick tempos or prominent drum beats when making a little song-list for Space Invaders, then threw a couple of "different" songs in there to see the effect.

DQM: J2 is getting a second version in Japan and we still don't have word if it'll even be launched in the West. Criminal I tell ya.
Saw that too.
I want it N-O-W ! ! !
I just don't want to see the West re-entere the era of "screw you, DQ games never leave Japan."
What has two thumbs and is still bitter that we never got DQ: Yangus' Mysterious Dungeon? THIS GUY!! . . . .cor blimey.
Darkside Chronicles did great and should be past 500k. Not that a rail shooter would "affect them the most".
