I just got my GI and checked out the new Tomb Raider screens. I'm loving the new makeover. it already looks AAA just by the screens.

That's a ridiculous number, let's see if they can maintain reasonable momentum past the holidays. I guess the other two should have ramped up marketing as well when it was known Microsoft would have a huge budget dedicated to that (I think it's mostly due to that, extra marketing, rather than the Kinect itself alone). Although I kinda suspect the other consoles won't be too far behind, with the extra marketing mostly bringing in even more buyers than usual rather than stealing them from other companies directly (of course indirectly they do anyway)...

Nintendo is still hot for the holidays. In November alone, eager holiday shoppers in the United States snapped up more than 2.7 million Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ systems. That equates to more than 1.2 million Wii systems and more than 1.5 million units from the Nintendo DS family of systems, according to the NPD Group.

GT5 at 8 and outsold by NFS. Holy shit. Sony really fucked up this release in at least two aspects: Not being able to grab PD by the balls and have them work within a schedule, and royally fucking up the release of the game, with all those leaks and fuckups prior to the date's announcement.
CoD BLOPS 8.4 million units. HOLY FUCKING FUCK.
This site says Wii number is @ 1.27 million (surprised Nintendo rounded this down in their PR) and PS3 @ 530k!

PS3's puny figures look like a tiny penis lined up alongside two girthy wangs over a counter.
I wish Donky Kong Country Returns at least outsold Just Dance 2, but oh well.
Also, I guess GT5 can be seen as a disappointment in sales even though NFS Hot Pursuit's sales was for all the consoles.
