Now I'm starting Lord of the Rings Online.
I've got to play Vanquish. Usually I'm all about Platinum. Well, it's kind of a one way relationship, I buy their games, but usually they only turn up to half the dates we plan. This new one doesn't sound like it's for me at all.
Nick des Barres (Nick Roxx) works there now, incidentally. If you don't know who he is don't bother looking it up, if you do know who he is that'll be of interest.

If you ever want to sharpen your mind (or go crazy) try playing a Final Fantasy from 1994 while you simultaneously play a Dragon Quest game from 1992.
I've been switching back from the SNES to the DS all day, and it's like, "Okay, I'll go to the overworld and save. Oh no, this is DQ, I have to use a Chimera to get back to the Church to save." or "I can go further I have plenty of Potions" and then finding out you are in the other JRPG, and you don;t have any "Medicinal Leaves" left.
I'm 17 hours into FF6 and 6 hours into DQ5.

You know Nintendo is the only company that does exactly the opposite of what Pachter recommends, but yet they are by far the most profitable.
