I tried the Mortal Kombat demo and really liked it. It looks quite good and the fighting seemed very smooth. I've only tried Scorpion so far. Sub-Zero, Mileena, and Johnny Cage are also playable. It's great to go back to the earlier game's 2D playstyle. I'll very likely be picking this game up. I'm not sure which version I want yet though. The PS3 version has Kratos which is very cool. I HATED it at first!

For some reason, I was trying to play it like Street Fighter and was getting frustrated at how "Slow" it was. Then I got my MK groove back, started to connect Kombos, started landing some Uppercuts and High Jump Kicks. The game remained the same speed, but my fighting sped up and everything just clicked. It felt like Mortal Kombat 2 all of the sudden. I actually said: "Ohhhh Yeah..." like I had a sudden realization...

The character models take A LOT of abuse and it shows. I like that! The Backgrounds and Characters benefit greatly from being in HD. The Klassic Moves are well represented. I can't wait to see the fatalities, stage fatalities and X-Ray moves first hand. I was freaked a tiny bit when I lost to Mileena!  

I am very psyched now for the full versions!

Games here need classification in order for them to be sold, therefore, Refused Classification equals no sales are allowed.  It's like the worst kind of porn, or a weapon, so far as the Aussie governemtn is concerned.

Should be put to sleep in July though, from what I read.
